Dwarves and their manly-ass beards. Dwarves are a people that reside in the earth sphere. Despite this tendency of conquering the earth and having the cultural aptitude for it. They are not truly earth-spirits but rather a subset of depowered giants. Though they trade physical might in pursuit of i...

Re: Race Revisions and Race Trait system

Note that I shall only respond to criticism. Praise is only the bare minimum of what I want to inspire. I will also not respond to the criticism to bland +2 skill modifiers. As they are legitimate. Each one should probably just get only 1 or 2 of those mods. If that. I don't understand why sheep is ...

It's not clear how this works. You get 4 cultural traits, or 2 mutations, or 2 and 1? Exactly. That is more or less uniform amongst the races, unless they are a race that don't possess any cultural or mutation traits. In which case they are forced to pick 2 mutations or 4 cultural traits. I'm plann...

I typically like myself a mixture of a martial artist, and a skill monkey. The less time that I have to talk, and do boring face shit. The better.

Casters are also fine really. I just like high numbers, being able to control the situation as I see fit.

Is Teen Titans! Go any good? Why or why not? Feel free to use reasons like 'it's not like the original show' if you must, but I'd rather have reasons that go beyond it. The show is good, if you considered getting your testicles hammered against the wall would be a good use of your time. Srsly thoug...

Race Revisions and Race Trait system

I often find the race selection in 3.5 to be a tad bit disappointing. This is a mixture of my own homebrew campaign ideas, but it is meant to be general enough for anyone to use. 1 - INTRODUCTION TO RACE TRAITS [/i] It's a simple system really, in most races you want to have 4 trait systems. 10 cult...

They are something that is a part of a character's backstory, current religious and whatnot. I'm not too interested in the actual gods themselves, so I am rather agnostic as to how I handle things. I call Clerics who don't actually follow a religion, or follow it shallowly would be considered to be ...

I frankly found the 2nd game lacking. At least in the first one, I had the desire to get A+ on all of the stages (And I almost did too, outside of that one fucking stage when the cops come up through an elevator and it's all so frustrating) Really I just wish they did something different, and not ev...

That kind of defeats the purpose of knowledge rolls then. Unless you're rocking a Knowledge Devotion build of some kind, where getting that extra +1/2/3 Bonus to Hit and Damage is really that important.

Whenever I cleric, I just have most of those spells on scrolls. Those are in the level 1-2 area anyways. So are rarely that expensive.

At least the status removal ones.

Why is it that DnD players (at least on the net) seem to enjoy playing low-level games? It's frankly kind of annoying in a way.

If I wanted a game that regularly commanded that DMs do most of the leg-work. I might as well just freeform roleplay.

The funny thing is that channers will eat that sort of thing up. Those guys really love to kick their players in the balls, and will bitch if you even do anything remotely optimal.

I have to ask, what would you rank the general utility of each pathfinder race? Going from 1-5 (1 being awful, 5 being amazing) I personally think, that they did races in an utterly awful way. It's a Halfling Wizard wouldn't be that uncommon in 3.5, but in 3.PF, that shit is just straight up optimal...
