Just allow the iterative feats to scale with level?

Maybe allow non-metamagic feats to be chosen every level... But metamagic can only be selected every even level?

Beyond that, just ignore pre read... That solves, the problem of shitty feats being something most people look,at, ever.

As far as practice is concerned, apparently the magical number is roughly 10,000 hours. Healthy critique and then being able to positively use that critique is also massively important. Especially when being creative. Because there's very little within the creative process that absolutely is 100% th...

I sometimes forget that TGDMB HAS rules. I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

It seems to me that Grek's roles are a good fit as encounter-design roles. Slots that you would fill it with monsters designed from Frank's monster classes / rolls.

That's weird, because you also found that out October of last year. What's up with the deja vu?

I feel like the biggest problem with multiclassing is figuring out how to handle powers. Constraining your basic resource management schemes into ~4 flavors, and only 'allowing' those to multiclass, then releasing 'official' mixes of those is definitely a workable solution. But that typically brings...

So... Planeshift: Zendikar , anyone? I'm actually very surprised to be seeing this. Coming as it does just after the head of WotC got sacked and before the new chief exec takes over, my impression is that it's something that was busted out in a hurry because there was no one to tell them they could...

I was playing with the idea of re-skinning the Samurai as a Persian-flavored scimitar wielder as well. Sounds fun. I'd suggest reworking "kiai to crit so of course you use a pick" to just bonus damage so more weapon variety is encouraged. At higher levels you'll probably want to give the ...

I think the 4e guy would like the TOME Monk, Totemist, Soulborn, Assassin, or Hicks Mage. That list might simply make up most of the party. I don't think I've ever seriously looked at the Hicks Mage before, though. I was playing with the idea of re-skinning the Samurai as a Persian-flavored scimita...

Help/Suggestions building a one-shot party

We're running a one-shot this weekend and I'm having a difficult time deciding on what to do for a party of pre-built characters. (I'll explain below) Here's the basic details... [hr] System: 3.X/T Rules/Classes Allowed: (Nearly) Anything Goes, I will absolutely be open to custom content Races Allow...

This section fails on scope and scale. Again, FIRST LEVEL CHARACTERS in a SIXTY-THREE ROOM DUNGEON. That said, that's really the only level traps are a danger, so it seems Christopher Perkins at least understands that much, but still. I was thinking it might be interesting to have a grading key wit...

Symbaroum RPG? Wut do

Has this been on anyone's radar?

Symbaroum RPG core rulebook popped up on my feed. Sounds like it may be a rules lite.
