I'm starting my top lane ADC adventures. First up, Vayne. What's the best first item on Vayne now? Is it still BORK after the nerf? Because losing the 5% lifesteal really sucks. The passive though, does go from 25 to 40 average damage after the change (assuming your opponent has 1k max HP when you f...

Prestige classes or other options for the good-guy wizards
Something that I always wondered about is what sort of interesting class options exist for good-aligned characters. The guys who seem to, as far as class options go, not get much are good-aligned wizards. Their evil-aligned brethren don't really have this problem. There's tons and tons of interestin...

I think comics would benefit from more limited-run series. Have the comic run for ~5 years, have an actual arc with an ending, then put the character to rest for at least a few months while the new team cycles in to tell their own reboot. And maybe that reboot starts with a new origin story or mayb...

Now, my initial theory was that I downloaded a mod that the game didn't like for some reason, so I began deleting all the mods that I thought might be causing the problem. However, even after this purge, the game refused to work. I still think it has something to do with the mods and their data fil...

Seriously though aside from the insane Kayle nerfs (should have just hit the ult cooldown, not the righteous fury), I'm totally loving this patch. The new quill coat / spirit of the ancient golem is great; tank junglers (nautilus, volibear, cho'gath) are by far my favorite role to play in the game. ...

There were only two good things that came out of the Star Wars prequels. The first was Palpatine being generally awesome (he was the only character that got better rather than got worse, somehow, by some miracle). The second was that N64 podracing game. I saw an old vector based star wars arcade mac...

I think interrupts would solve both #2 and #3. If a higher initiative character gets to hear a lower initiative character's declaration of action, he gets to act before it is resolved. So he gets to buff, intercept, debuff, and the effect of that affects how the intial declaration will be resolved,...

6 item Nasus when everyone else except the support has 6 items seems like he kind of sucks in teamfights tbh because everyone else is way too good at peeling him off of carries and taking his damage. I'm a scrub but I have a LOT of Nasus games and something like a 75% winrate with him, but ironicall...

In 1884, meridian time personnel met in Washington to change Earth time. First words said was that only 1 day could be used on Earth to not change the 1 day bible. So they applied the 1 day and ignored the other 3 days. The bible time was wrong then and it proved wrong today. This a major lie has so...

Dota has one of the most astoundingly terrible user interfaces I've ever seen on a video game, and it is actively refused to be improved because grognards. It is, fortunately, somewhat scriptable to make it better, though some of the worse parts (the non-uniform size of the bottom UI for example) ca...

I never questioned that they were real. Just didn't know if they actually patent trade secrets. No, that would defeat the point of secrecy. A good example of trade secrets is the RC4 algorithm. It's a stream cipher, essentially a pseudo-random number generator. Historically, it was used as one of t...
