Remember the Heartbleed security vulnerability? We just got one that's worse. It's being called "Shellshock". Link: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/26/technology/security-experts-expect-shellshock-software-bug-to-be-significant.html It's definitely worse than Heartbleed, but the damage isn'...

I don't really care how well you think of my opinion but the fact of the matter is that Marth was a top-tier character in Melee and retains all those strengths from Melee in Project M. If you think he is neutered and sucks then it probably has more to do with your lack of experience with the charact...

i have a cable always connected just for that on my desk which does the same thing. and another on my bed as well. wireless stuff is only at an advantage if the distances are too big/inconvenient to cover via cable. otherwise wireless will always lose out to wired connections. I don't know about yo...

i can live just fine without NFC and wireless charging . . a cable is always better. more stable, more secure, usually cheaper and easier as well . . ESPECIALLY if the wireless stuff has a reach of only centimeters and so does not even offer an advantage over a CABLE that's a few centimeters long <...

That makes so much sense. Wikipedia says he wrote two new stories for this movie, and they were the ones that completely sucked and didn't make any sense at all.

God damnit. Watching the second Sin City movie was like watching the second Matrix movie. A truly monumental disappointment.

As far as the above conversation goes: I thought Brave was weird. It was an hour and a half long but only felt like 45 minutes.

I never timed it but I'm pretty sure it's just a quarter second after you hit W. There's only like 5 or 6 different timing possibilities though, so you can really just run through them until you find the correct one. I don't spam or anything, it really is just a matter of committing it to muscle mem...

Having low ping helps but like any combo it's just a matter of muscle memory. Go into a custom game and do it against minions until you can do it like 20x without failing and you'll never fail it again.

As someone who works on very sophisticated systems for detecting difficult-to-find behavior as part of his day job, I have my doubts. But I really do hope whatever they've come up with turns out great, because one ragey team can spoil everything.

I only play Ryze at all because I need someone to pick against certain top lane matchups. I don't necessarily enjoy it.

Teemo is basically an early game only champion at this point thanks to the nerfs and Gnar sucks. I'd be more concerned about Ryze and Lissandra.

Call of Duty 4's AC-130 level. Right after you do a mission of carefully sneaking past big groups of enemies and avoiding their attention, you get to play as the fucking giant plane they call in to support your team and annihilate those same enemies with impunity. I forgot about this. That game was...

Tabletop gaming guilty pleasures: what are yours?

Everyone has something they like despite it being bad or dumb. For me it's the Forgotten Realms. I know it's really stupid. But I don't care, I love it anyway. Hell, the stupidness just adds to the fun.

Except for 4e FR and anything involving Elminster though. Fuck that shit.

I wasn't aware that you could lifesteal off the BotRK passive (the % current health on-hit part). Is that true? I'm actually pretty experienced with AD carry top, so I'm not too worried about getting dumpstered (and I don't pick it when I don't know what the enemy top laner is going to be). I played...
