Re: Wand of Prestidigitation???
Personally, I think that cantrips should just be at-will. None of them actually do anything worthwhile besides flavor effects (and minor stuff like Detect Magic or Ghost Sound). Of course, Prestidigitation is really useful if you play a game that takes such things into account, but it has no mechani...

It also has the added benefit of making people who are weaker than you still have fun.

I'm not following you. It doesn't have Sleep, Color Spray, Glitterdust, Web, Stinking Cloud...

Yeah, I know I spelled it wrong. However, when I tried to sign up with the proper name, I mispelled my email address and so I had to do it again by switching the I and E.

Re: Paladin Variations
And full BAB is worthless out of it.
Of course, people are going to cry broken as soon as they see full BAB and 9th level spells, but what can you do?

Is there any chance of you actually writing such a system?

Re: Summoner
Summon works like the Summon ability you find in various Outsiders. The others are design things I can't answer.

Personally, I'm fond of when they or the Sage quote some rule and then say something that's contrary to what the rule says.

Leading the questions? You can do it just by asking them the same exact question multiple times.

If the US government wants they can go to war with Iran. The fact that Iran hasn't done anything to deserve invasion doesn't matter. What does matter is that we're bogged down in Iraq, and the administration won't be able to convince the people to go into another war*, even after the Iraq debacle is...

Re: How about we NOT make it a feat, you clown?
So what you could do is make having skills do something no matter how much you have, but you do it better the more you have. Like how Diplomacy has different things it does depending on how well you do, but not like Diplomacy in how it's totaly fvcking broken and unusable.[br][br]For example, maybe ...

Unless that sourcebook was the errata for the DMG, it's still totally legal. The "Primary Source" clause in the errata explicitly declares the DMG the primary source on magic items. The DMG says it takes the time to cast the spell to use an item that uses that spell. Which means they actua...

Re: Please take a look at this class
At level one they're much better off just inserting metallic objects into spellcasters than trying to absorb their spells. Doing 1d8+1.5xStr is much better than having an opposed roll to try to absorb their spell. The fact that 1d8+1.5 Str is on average more hp than a spellcaster has at 1st level me...

Re: Stealth and Game Balance
Why should a third-level wizard be harder to see than the best nonmagical stealth character in the game? [br]Because people have knee-jerk reactions anytime magic isn't objectively better than anyone else?[br][br]Slightly more on topic, if you have a stealth system like D&D (that being you have...

Now, the "Runic" ability actually says 5 feet per level. This still sucks, but can't be nullified by a single five foot step.[br][br]Of course, it could be made so much easier by simply giving them spell resistance, but that would be easy and people can never do that.[br][br]The reflection...
