Ah ok. I will use my best judgement and in the majority of cases abstain then.

Just wanted to make sure I did not break a major rule as I like this place.

Is that not true?

Honestly I think the games played by the PDT are so far from even semi-optimized play that no I do not think so. I mean look at Mark Seifter defending the kinetisict as a solid class... I would even say Mark is the most approachable of the PDT and seems the most in tune with the game. I base this on...

It is not just these item changes, it is the fact that this is a trend with Paizo. It started with monk flurry, to crane wing, then came to full flower from ACG "errata" onward. It seems like they are intent on removing any good options from all of there core line books. Faye's favored is ...

These nerfs follow the recent idiotic Paizo trend of rewriting material to make it worthless and calling it "errata". It is a great way to piss off fans that like having books that work, and also please the gonard "omg you bothered to care if your character was effective, dirty munchk...

Yup "Errata" = GlobalSpacialNerfCannnon = Epic Failure This so reminds me of fourth and is a major reason I quit that game. Unclear rule clarification, ok no problem, spelling/grammar fix, good deal, changing basic functionality because your developers feel a mostly martial option is too s...

5 years would be a stunningly small amount of time to get that done in, but yes Kaelik is right if they even start to improve in meaningful ways that would be amazing.

I have honestly no idea what 5th edition D&D partisans would attempt to justify the game with, because that game has no fans. -Username17 Balance is impossible anyway, whats really important is that everyone has fun. And you can have fun with any mechanics if you are imaginative enough. So its ...

The blatant apologists on some other forums do not help. There are quite a few posters that insist that the scrying/teleport advice was always the way things worked and Paizo is flawless and wonderful for giving us this and other holy "clarifications". I fought the good fight for lack of ...

Yeah but James Jacobs is writing it and has already said they are cutting the guided property along with celestial plate. He has made it clear that he is going to rework it and I do not trust the Paizo work style he espouses. To be clear I liked the old version of CotCT I am just not sure that it wi...

I was actually extremely excited about the CotCT hardcover. I just have decided based on the downhill slope of the ACG-->Unchained-->UI releases and the post ACG "errata" spate that I will not buy any Paizo product before I have had access to it and a chance to thoroughly look it over. I w...

One of my friends received the 5ed books as a Birthday Gift and came to me super excited to share his new and fun hobby... I tried to be kind but this is not a new RPG player, and since he is trying to work on game design as a skill, I went over the books with him trying not to let my preconceptions...

Hillary Clinton was more liberal than 70 percent of the Democrats in the senate. She was the 15th most liberal senator overall. And last presidential cycle, the 18th most liberal senator beat her in the Democratic primary by running to her right and promising to cross the aisle and work with Republ...

As one of the people who contributed to this, I can admit it is entirely for reasons of nostalgia. My wife and I played, heavily house ruled, changeling all through high school so now that I have the means I shelled out the 125$ for a copy of the book so as to give it as a gift. I expect no real con...
