Asking the guy questions just to savage him about his prior mistakes is obnoxious, and it's really only appropriate to be obnoxious to other people who are also on the boards and on board with our culture of dickery. Ask him how he'd revise his GNS model in light of the weaknesses or strengths it's ...

Be reasonable. We have the technology to denature plastics back in to raw hydrocarbon right now, and our landfills are fucking crammed to the rafters with the stuff. That technology is only going to get better, and the one thing that I presume there isn't a shortage of in this setting is raw energy,...

It's possible that almost all of the landfill-extraction has already been done, leaving most humans with essentially no useful purpose to fulfill in the global economy.

This IS the beginning of the space-age; with cheap automated production and maturing space-based logistics, it seems like it's only a matter of decades until people start seriously strip mining the asteroid belts and low-g moons of the gas giants for raw materials. That would do a lot to alleviate t...

Technically, making and selling roleplaying games also falls under the 'entertainment industry', so... we all fall on that list. Here's a question: what's the situation in the future regarding the price of housing, food, water, medical care, communications, and entertainment? Currently, even super p...

It seems to me that one of the most obvious routes for any underclass to take is to smash and ruin as many critical labor-saving devices as possible, in order to create work for them to be paid to do. Also, I imagine the number of people with children in this world is so low as to approach Children ...

Plus, employee onboarding, training, and orientation can be enhanced by augmented reality / virtual reality / direct cranial stimulation. Okay, so let's go back a step. What sort of jobs exist in this economy? Because that's a pretty critical question when examining how plausible this Just-In-Time E...

There's a difference between a natural process and a surgical procedure. Both of these processes are a result of human decisions. You can elect not to have sex, having sex is the result of a human decision, and the creation and consequential failure to implant of an embryo is thus the result of a h...

How much money are we talking about? Several thousand dollars. Art costs money on a per-picture basis, there's really no way around that. Printing, editing, and distribution cost money too. Even counting the writing as free because I'd do it anyway, we§re looking at a capitalization of like eight t...

Endovior has the right approach. This is going to require expensive infrastructural magical items or rituals, or at the minimum it's going to require a lot of extradimensional slave labor conjured by your local wizard or druid.

I don't believe there is one. Autohypnosis is definitely ripe for a feat, though; it's a weird skill that doesn't fit that elegantly in to the system, very niche, and a feat can give it a proper purpose.
