The reading comprehension (or lack thereof) in this thread is amazing. Bloodline Arcana: Some undead are susceptible to your mind-affecting spells. Corporeal undead that were once humanoids are treated as humanoids for the purposes of determining which spells affect them. So we have people arguing t...

I'm pretty sure the conservatives on MSNBC were originally hired because they were Bush critics. After all, MSNBC started its current programming direction in response to Fox acting as an extension of the Bush administration's press office. Basically, in order to be fair, they decided not so much to...

This made me both laugh and cry: MSNBC is, well, a lot more tolerable to me than Fox News. At least it's actually funny during the times I'm around it. Even if it is just as biased... Fun points of what I saw tonight: 1) Remember Schiava...Shiavo...whatever, back in 2005? Of course you don't. Point...

This is why I stated that the debates don’t count. Everything was pretty much scripted, something that one could expect and prepare for well in advance. It is not a good indication of his ability to “ad lib” a conversation or to hold a real debate. The nasty questions were not thrown at him, unlike...

You shouldn’t have counseling at the end of life, you should have done that 20 years before. ...

Here's a news story to give some context
Basically, the guy was upset that they only passed out 30 cards to the first 30 people who wanted to speak, and he wasn't one of them. This, even though the hall was packed with anti-reform people, and they also got to ask the lion's share of the questions.

*ahem* DnD is a role playing game good sir. By definition it is a game you Role Play in. And the default assumption is that you're roleplaying a mercenary who makes a living by killing monsters and taking their things. Your character's life centers on combat, and for that very reason, there's a det...

I think people could stand to be a bit more accepting of people who just like 4e or whatever for their own reasons. It would help if 4e fans weren't, by and large, incoherent people. I'm pretty sure all three reasonable 4e fans in the world already post at the Den. The outsiders who come here to de...

Based on what's been posted, you can still distribute 4e mods, but you can't do it as a defined Fan Site using WotC copyrighted materials. Basically it only says you can't slap the 4e logo or artwork on whatever you're doing if it mods the rules. I don't think this is exactly correct. Specifically ...

Here in southern Ohio, we're waiting with bated breath to see if we're going to break the record for coolest July ever recorded. We've had several days where the high temperature didn't break 70. Normally, we're in the 80s most of the time with the occasional 90+ day. The annual precipitation total ...

Yeah, but that was exactly the point that Rep. Ryan was being ousted for - he voted against funding for abortion, and then suggested paying for sex ed, and they said he was insufficiently pro-life. -Crissa Do you have a source that says he voted against funding for abortion in the bill we're talkin...
