20 January 1219. Winter. Three Lakes covenant "From what I understand, this will not be an easy land to tame. I have no doubt that these Volkvhy are numerous and enjoy a great deal of mundane support, whereas we will be far away from our sodales and those friendly to the order. These Cumans wi...

If you made it your talisman, you totally could, although you have to add the attunement (which adds the lab total bonus from the S&M table to a relevant spellcasting) while doing any other work on your talisman, and only the highest bonus applies. If you made a glove your talisman (highly inadv...

20 January 1219. Winter. Three Lakes covenant. Petrus continues to peck away at his food. "Hmm, I had neglected to consider the problem of the Aegis. Allow me to be forthright. I, as a magus, am specialized in the Form of Vim; this specialization, honed over years of study in the finest librar...

If you're talking about formulaic magic. you roll a stress die in stressful situations and a simple die in simple situations, and add your technique, form, stamina, and whatever modifiers may or may not apply. If it's equal to or greater than the spell level, you cast the spell. If it's between one ...

For what it's worth, my intelligence+MT is 12, so I can invent any level 10 spell in two seasons, which you can then learn in another season, so we should be able to build up a collection of minor spells fairly quickly.

If it's equal to or greater than the level, you cast it without penalty, with the MoS being added to Penetration. If it's within ten, you cast it, but you take a level of fatigue. Spontaneous casting functions...
