It's been confirmed, the Blood kid in Greece was abandoned by her biological parents because they couldn't feed her. They left her with the Roma couple who was raising her/was arrested.

It's all anti Roma discrimination and bigotry.

One of my most fun D&D style games, was a Faerun overrun by Evil campaign. Everything had class levels.

Hobgoblins, Kobolds, Drow. A Kobold may not seem like much of a challenge, but if you stack rogue, and then assassin PRC on him. He's kind of scary.

All of the Shadowrun fan boys around here like the world represented in SR3.. but very few like any of the game systems used to represent them.

Even AH and Frank who WROTE for 4th edition, have major issues with SR3, and SR4. (I don't count SR5. It's like Highlander 2)

Congradulations, you miss the adventure. You are tricked: You get information about the treasure of monkey island,...

So I either choose to not be ensorcelled, charmed, etc, OR I choose to get useful information, in which case I am ensorcelled somehow. Which means that the useful information I got might be bogus, or that I'm now Drac...

It's okay to have 1 player get smoked. But it would be better if that smoking was not the result of a single die roll going badly in the first 10 minutes of a 5 hour session. That could potentially keep the player from playing for the next 3-10 sessions depending. Right now, if my character dies in ...

In oWoD there was always someone bigger and badder than you who would come in and take care of things. That being said, given that New York Sabbat would do things like chase enraged werewolves down Park Avenue.. I have no idea how the Masquerade lasted more than 17 seconds.

Wizard walks into a Hospital, respirators stop working.
Wizard flies on a plane, electrical failures happen all over the place.

It's got some nice flavor. And it tells you why wizards use magic to get around. It's also a new thing, 100 years ago, they used to curdle milk, make goats miscarry.. etc.

Of course there is more than mathematical function to create a system around. But if your math is fucking stupid, then your game has stupid results. For example: Shadowrun or WoD. You add your stat + your skill dots in dice, and roll against a TN, and count hits. Supposedly the ranking is: 1) Novice...

Why would you want to create monsters on the fly? You could spend 30-40 minutes during the week to build a bunch of encounters. If you build yourself 4-5 extra encounters everytime the party levels, that you can pull out if you need a random encounter. You should be good. Most of the encounters are...

All we know for sure is that no amount of protection magic protects you from Avrakadavra. They do seem to have protective magic. There is nothing in the books that indicate that Wizards are worried about real shotguns or claymore mines.

I think the answer is all 3. You should have a base wolf, that's just a regular nothing special wolf. He's got a bite attack, a jump and rend, and some precision damage attached to his bite attack, possibly with a speed reduction kicker (hamstring) Then, if you want special wolves, you put a class o...

But I still don't get why you want to mix it with Narnia. Narnia has no redeeming qualities what so ever. And The Witch from the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe just isn't on the same scale as Potterverse witches. If you want to be able to do more adult oriented adventures in potterverse, it's not r...

Wolf + Shadow template + couple of monster feats + tweak stats just a little. Is not really all that hard. You don't need to stat out 5 different shadow wolves from scratch. You start with a base, then you buff them. There is no reason to have different stats for werewolves in Eberon vs Faerun vs Sp...

(kind of like WWI was The Great War until WWII happened). Strangely enough, it was first called the "first world war" in September 1914 , and this guy wrote a book in 1920 called The First World War. Though I agree, it was perfectly clear what "The Old Republic" refers to, espec...

Simply put? If you can't find a 3.5 game anymore, then Pathfinder is definitely more fun than 4E. I would rather stop roleplaying than play 4E. But Pathfinder, at least I can make a character that doesn't intrinsically suck. Although, this does depend on the level of system mastery you're going for.

Because fundementally, games where you are completely at the mercy of the DM for all resolutions suck. The number of DMs I would trust with that kind of power amounts to 4. Most people probably approach 0 as the number of DMs they trust that much. Even 8 year olds know that Cops and Robbers is going...
