The Barbarian swings his Greataxe all day long, and the Wizard slings Fireballs all day long. The 3.x Barbarian has a severely limited number of times per day that he can rage. Additionally, the number of times he can swing his greataxe is limited by his hit points (And many other things, instead o...

Depending upon your definition of "fired." The chef was repositioned and had her job title changed. She still prepared food.

Unfortunately, the lies work. What percentage of people believe Obama is a Muslim? I forget the exact number, but it is unbelievably high. Most people don't pay attention, so spam (all forms) works. Some people think "Hmmm, I heard a lot of bad stuff about Obama, like x, y, z. I don't remember ...

Although I am not married, I actually have some important advice: You should both know what the other expects of the marriage. If you don't talk about this now, you will end up in a position where you both assumed something different on how to handle a situation, and a shitstorm will ensue. For exam...

Well I would personally point to the part that you yourself quoted that says: "declaring yourself willing is a free action that can be taken at any time." As yet another example of each of your arguments contradicting all your previous ones. First off, I can find no post where I said what...

It would be much easier to dissect. ...rather than sitting and asking pretty questions like Charlie Gibson Even so, s...

I used to play Team Fortress 2. I don't currently have a computer system that can handle it though.

In my opinion when you have a team that communicates/works together, the game is fantastic.

My preferred classes are Spy, Demoman, and Engineer.

Frank, I will try to explain this again: -'Willing’ is a state of being, there is no action taking place, it is an adjective that describes a creature. -’Forego’ is an action, it is not a state of being, it is a verb. The same is true for the word ‘accept.’ So, you are arguing that being in a ‘willi...

The fact that there exist spells that can only affect willing targets proves that "willing" is a technical piece of game terminology. It is a term used in the mechanics of the game. But it isn't defined anywhere. In fact, that's what the argument is about in the first place, unless I am q...

Similarly, "considered willing" in sentence 3, if we are parsing by the normal rules of grammar, does not mean "considered willing only for purposes alluded to in a nearby sentence", it means "considered willing, with everything that entails." Ok. So what does that ent...

No. At no point does it ever make the distinction that any of that consideration is only for one purpose or another. False. 1. Some spells restrict you to willing targets only. 2. Declaring yourself as a willing target is something that can be done at any time (even if you’re flat-footed or it isn’...

And the fact that some effects explicitly talk about you being willing in one or more specific contexts in no way eliminates the willing state for the purposes of other effects that care. You are not willing while unconscious. You are only considered willing for ...

Frank, I notice you didn't make counterarguments against any of my factual statements. You just listed this, and took a specific sentence out of context: Taking a non-action to declare yourself willing for a specific spell makes you willing (p. 177). Being unconscious makes you willing (p. 175). Bei...

I don't really see how spells are better than melee attacks on CdG. There are tons of reasons why you might want to subdue a foe and not kill them. For all these purposes, spells are better. There are also situations where you couldn't effectively get a melee attack off, but you could get into spel...
