They literally make a joke at the end of episode 8 about how Poe and Rey have never met.

There are Gem Dragons in the MM2, and I think they use Psionics. I'm not sure if they exist on Krynn (but I'd make it so and make them associated with the neutral gods).

Also, nearly done with my Towers of High Sorcery review, at least in terms of rough drafts. I already decided that I'm going to review War of the Lance next. HOWEVER... Unless I or the forums burn out hard on Dragonlance, I'm thinking of reading one more book after that for a post-WotL review. Give...

I’m also curious as to why you think Attack of the Clones was more mature than the rest of the movies, unless you meant you meant you thought it was less . It has the dumbest plot of any Star Wars movie not called The Ewok Adventure, The Clone Wars or The Star Wars Holiday Special. I would certainl...

I think the main reasons is that there's a big flavor tussle in published material between the writers who actually understand polytheism and write D&D gods and religions from that perspective, and those who don't grok it at all and just write them like a collection of idealized pseudo-Christia...

This decade was when I first got into TTRPG's and I've been enjoying myself immensely with them. Mostly stuck with the same group of friends. Made Pokemon Mystery Dungeon D20. Made a bunch of reimagined monsters and some homebrew classes and even a few campaign settings. Even if the industry as a wh...

Frank, those are specifically special Pokemon that are larger than others of their species. Also I will have nothing from Detective Pikachu anywhere near my games whatsoever, out of spite. https://external-preview.redd.it/N-T7j7N2cDIftN_ngM2CLHE7QfQrAI0W3KUrZyrSGp8.jpg?auto=webp&s=546beee3a7504...

Yes, relating to Rick is a sign that there is something wrong. Just like relating to Bojack Horseman. Because the entire point of both shows is that the protagonist is horrible, broken and selfish. The difference, however, is that Bojack Horseman conveys quite well that Bojack's behavior is bad, wh...

I'm not. Rapidash wasn't the contentful word in that sentence, cavalry was. And you make the classical argument of roads and taxes. What evidence is there to suggest that private enterprise won't build and maintain the roads? It would seem that businesses have an incentive to provide easy access via roads, rails, etc. to their establishments, both for customers and general...

6e is a shitshow. 6e is not a functional game. You can't get into the game by reading the 6e corebook, because it lacks crucial rules that are only present in earlier editions, and expects you to know them. SR 5e had this exact problem. These aren't "editions of Shadowrun" they are "...

Blade, I think you may be conflating playstyle with fictional genres and themes. D&D don't emulate any genre as far as I know. It is it's own thing. A good example is Vampire the Masquerade. I remember it selling itself as personal horror back then... but struggling to actually deliver it at th...
