I have a feeling that is part of the Adventure Card Game online version demo. One should not compare the ACG to PF balance wise. The monk may not be worthless in that.

The latest blog post tells me that the devs looked at all those creatures that are strong or immune to mind-effecting effects and said "we need to give spell casters a way to bypass that".

They announced another Bestiary tonight. As well as Ultimate Intrigue, a skills hardback. Including the Vigilante base class.

Bloodragers do at least get the benefit of a swift action spell when they enter rage, if I recall correctly. A one level dip in wizard doesn't accomplish that, but being a full on wizard with a dip in barbarian does.
