Yeah, I'm going to have to submit that I've always considered "negging" a woman to be one step shy of rape. Also, negging a woman ruins her for any guy she might be with in the future because she assumes everyone does that and demands more from the next guy.

I can lay about 40% of the blame for the shitty women I've dated before this one on being negged in the past, and it even took almost 6 months to convince the current Gf that I wasn't going to do that.

Fun fact: One of the worst flame wars I've ever been in was with some random Danish woman who accused me of negging and would not listen to me when I said that I have never done that.

I was told that I should have been less angry because she didn't speak English perfectly and didn't know that calling me a rapist would be so negatively received. I would think "I don't do that and I'd like you to stop insisting I do considering we've never met" isn't a statement that requires a heavy grasp of the language to understand, and calling me a sexual predator would probably be likewise offensive in Danish. My theory was she had underlying issues that weren't apparent in the conversation we had.

I think it's short for negative. If urbandictionary is to be trusted, it's negative comments meant to lower a woman's self esteem and make them more vulnerable.
