Storytelling: The Thief and the Cobbler

Post by Judging__Eagle »

I recently came across this film that Richard Williams was working on from 1968, and was released in 1995; after being nearly destroyed and turned into "Arabian Nights".

I think that establishing what sorts of stories, their timing, spacing, story and character we enjoy and want to see are a key part in designing the sorts of games we want to play.

While The Thief and the Cobbler may not be good for planning a game, knowing what you like, and what you don't like is important if you want to plan out the timing.

While everyone's Philosophy is not in accord, that doesn't mean we're not on board.
