Relevant to other party members: Poetry lets Crystal scribe scrolls of *any* 1st level spell. Of course, until she picks up UMD ranks, she can only actually use [cold] scrolls herself (which is pretty much Ray of Frost and from It's Cold Outside: Lesser Shivering Touch and other oddball spells (conjure ice beast 1, crunchy snow, detect fire, ease of breath, glaze lock, ice slick) - most of which are inferior to Snowscaper class features she already has. Should I be worried/scared about Freezing and Shitsurakuen being on that list? I mean, those are NOT light-hearted (and I REALLY do not want some of the shit from those series happening to either of the Soga sisters) in ANY manner nor really fitting well with Disgaea. Then again, this campaign's been in the comfort zone so far and I doubt everyone would agree to a sudden shift of some sort. And I think that inspiration from Freezing does make sense from a certain perspective, and so does Shitsurakuen, sorta.

Haha... you really don't know what a pirate ship is like, do you? Lets see... Snuck on, that's only a break of rules if the captain's feeling like punishing someone (not just Nast, either). Running away from home, that's where most pirates come from.

Yeah, getting punished by Nasturtium doesn't mean you're a rule-breaker, it means Nasturtium wants to punish you. That'd be like claiming anybody I ever spanked had just broken some kind of rule.

No. Not telling about the Shitsurakuen part, but it's... just an idea about something, adapted a little, which makes an interesting plot twist and means if you try to take over, you won't have to beat up every single member of EvilCorp Co. Pty. Ltd. PLC etc. etc.

Freezing: in the manga, there was a food-themed theme park. With a couples' eating contest. I literally read that during the session when you first launched the raid on the place and I declared it would be happening next session. In that one, the prize was a solid gold statue of a sausage-dog (so basically, D&D currency).

Nasturtium seems to be adding "Legend of the Overfiend/La Blue Girl" to the list of influences for this game. Yes, I am referring to vine usage.

I can't do that this week, as this Thursday (your Wednesday, slowpokes) I'm running a game at a convention. And running myself ragged. While already unwell and/or heat-exhausted from yesterday.

And come to think of it, usually on Thursdays (again, Wednesdays for you guys), I have a game to play on another server. And it's kind of rude to split your attention across two games at the same time.

With any luck, the world actually will end this year and I won't end up agreeing to run stuff at any more conventions. Bonus points if it's this weekend to make me more comfortable.
