Just indexing some stuff I want easy reference to for a very slow project:


Classes as titles earned for having collections of abilities

Condition Trees

Damage Somewhat Bounded, Accuracy and Defenses Unbounded

avoid the most obvious problems of 3e and 4e Some additional thoughts


Those would still imply a class, race and level based game.

The biggest issue not addressed in any of the linked thread is resource management - as much as I am in favor of "everything's at will", to start I want to try fleshing out the currently very rough ideas I have for a stance based "nearly-at-will" system where powers are accessible at-will off of different stance submenus, but changing submenus has a combat-time action cost.
