Dominion-wise, T'ien Ch'i is looking pretty bad right now...

Hey, T'ien Ch'i, that wasn't intentional. Looks like we both just happened to go for the same province. We're an inherently peaceful and reasonable people and we hope you won't interpret this as a declaration of all out WHARRRRRRRRGARBL.

That is one of the most fascinating spam bots I've seen. They are really getting better at this.

I just realized I'm about to stall. My Sunday-Monday schedule is kind of packed. If I could get a 12-hour extension, that'd be grand. Otherwise, I'll suck it up.

Uh...I don't think I can get home in time, and I can't do it from a work computer.

I could do it if you were comfortable giving me the password. My work is not so strict.

The first war of the game is always special.

Which one would that be? Agartha is kind of sort of attacking me, but doesn't seem too committed to it.

I'm going to Greece for a week. Hopefully, I won't miss any turns, but if I do, I apologize in advance.

I am out of town working at a conference. I might miss the next turn as well. I get back in 48 hours.

Password to the game is in the first post if anybody needs an extension. Life happens and all that.

I think the early game lesson learned here is "Province Defense is cheap and a couple points is worth it to keep random enemy scouts from stealing my provinces." It remains to be seen what the mid- and late-game lessons are going to be.

I'm going to have very spotty internet access over the weekend. I'll put in a turn now. I'll put in a turn tonight, but can we postpone the following turn to Monday night?

Two years into the Ascension Wars, and all six powers have established themselves, some to the detriment of others...the largest empires in size are Agartha (27) and R'lyeh (26), and their pantheon also encompasses the most sites of power (9 VP). In the middle (literally, hemmed in between rival powers on both sides), the empires of T'ien Ch'i (13) and Atlantis (17) have fewer lands under their control, but nearly as many points (8 VP). Mictlan (6) suffered the most from an early brush with Agartha and R'lyeh, as well as being hemmed in to the eastern edge of the map, and is separated from its partner Caelum (14) mainly by Atlantis...yet peace currently reigns in the South. While they many not have many points (5 VP), it is far too soon in the game to rule out this plucky team...

The hidden dragon of the game so far is R'lyeh, with its massive army, gem income, and dominating research lead, but then with the other amphibious powers mostly landlocked there are few to contest it in its own element.

I assume that Mictlan is still having spotty internets, so I postponed hosting. Considering that we have them in check, it seemed only fair to let them move.

Hey. Sorry about all the delays. Right now the problem I'm having is that I don't have the map on the computer I'm currently using and none of the dowload links appear to be working.

EDIT: Resolved
