Huh, some of my stuff is being included? Awesome! I will be pleased if they see use (and work).

No chance of them seeing more work from the author? :D

Right now I'm working on reformatting the PDF into a full-blown SRD (with inclusions from the D&D 3.x SRDs). I'm also separating the feats into individual files, because I like them better like that. Organization has been changed to be more like the PHB. I'll try to post the sources & PDF when I'm done.

So far I've added deep halflings, dwarves, gray elves, forest gnomes, humans, clerics & druids (with appropriate modifications), rogues, sorcerers, and wizards. I'm thinking of adding the sudden metamagic feats (that is, the only good ones) as well.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find current links to the Marshall et al. If anyone has those bookmarked on TGDMB.com I'd be much obliged.

Google (not the embedded search) works well. I'd supply a complete list if I knew all you want, but you probably can find it. Do tell if it doesn't work out.

Ah, LaTeX.

At least it's not TeX, I suppose.

MAJOR EDIT: At this point in time, the following has been included:
Classes:
Curator
Master of Wrath

Prestige Classes:
Maxus':
Tiger Monk
Gentle Monk
Spirit Wave Disciple
J_E's:
Blade Fighter

Combat Feats:
Aerial Assualt, Blood Soaked Charger, Brutal Grappler, Deadly Aura, Foe Wielder, Improved Natural Weapons, Ki Bomb, Knock Down, Legendary Wrestler, Master of Submissions, Nature's Warrior, Sunderer, Tough As Nails, Turnabout, and Unorthodox Fighter.

Intelligent Fighter and Flurry of Blows coming when I can figure out their special formatting challenges. (Surgo? AlphaNerd? Help...?)

Also, a bunch of skill and meta-magic feats too.

On my list of things to add:
J_E's Monster Rider
Biogode's Thaumaturge
Most of Iaimeki's prestige classes, though not all.

Combat Feats: Flurry of Blows and Intelligent Fighter.

Skill Feats: A fuckton.

Metamagic Feats: A few.

Various Tome weapons
Koumei's Video Game Magic Items

WHAT I NEED YOUR HELP WITH (if you're Iaimeki or J_E, really):a working barbarian prestige class, and Iaimeki's original text documents that he promised but I haven't yet seen.

Cheers. If we get this going ok, maybe I'll make you a Christmas present. (Ok, maybe New Years. Or Epiphany.) v0.6 at last.

As big a compliment that is, I'm a bit iffy on the Spirit Wave Disciple as-is. It'd be a...

PUN INCOMING!

...blast to play, but I'm not sure if it's balanced, since I was inventing mechanics and abilities as I went along, then had to re-invent the mechanics so they flowed better, and NOW...

...Well, I'd like some second, third, and fourth opinions.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Google? What's that?

Seriously though, if googling had worked I wouldn't be asking. I was looking for the Marshall and any other classes of its ilk, but I can't remember most of them at the moment. I have the half dragon and the lightning mage.

So do I. Latest version. Doesn't do much for this. Believe me. Not sure what you think it might help... but typesetting things nicely is damn hard. I was thinking about something like Adobe FrameMaker, but it's Windows only and chews enough memory that I'd have to boot into it.

Creating a document in Word for later conversion is honestly a bad way to do it, and that's really the only way that I can think of that Acrobat might help out.

I'm not a huge fan of LaTeX, but I can't find anything else.

Wait... my blade fighter got thrown in there? Crap. I need to look at it, again now.

I'll look at the monster rider as well.

Yes, it did. Really, all that it was missing was skills. As to balance, abilities, etc, I don't know.

Cool, is there room for Painmonger?

http://www.tgdmb.com/viewtopic.php?t=48737&start=94

[link to post, so that you don't have to scroll down to the bottom of page 4 of that thread.]

It's a bit longer than other feats, it's more of a "tactical" scaling feat, each of the 1st two tiers giving abilities that are binary. However after some edits everyone who had given feedback seemed happier with it.

Also, if there are any other comments for that feat, tell me in that thread and/or here?

edit: Redid the Berzerker and Bloodspiller classes.

It's on my list. Just haven't gotten to it yet. Uni is pretty damn busy right now - end of the semester and all.

It's also got some funky formatting, so it'll take a while.

Here's Frank's half-dragon. I suggest including it in the martial prestige class section just after Elothar's class.

Also, when someone does the next edition, please move the commands to another file and include them with an input command. That will make the base file much more readable.

Code: Select all

\classname{The Half Dragon}
\vspace*{-8pt}
\quot{``Also, dragons are pretty! Very pretty.''}

Half Dragon is a character class that can be used to make a monster into a more ``dragon-like'' monster. It can also be taken by player characters who want to be more dragon-like, for whatever reason. Maybe they got spilled with dragon blood and became dragon-like themselves. Maybe their mother slept with a dragon in disguise. Maybe the dragon wasn't in disguise. I don't want to hear about it.

\ability{Prerequisites:}
\listprereq
\itemability{Special:}{Must have some reason why you're more draconic than everyone else. Maybe it's inherited, maybe it's not. Something. Just don't go into too much detail, I probably don't even want to know.}
\itemability{Special:}{Must choose one appropriate dragon type to be more like.}
\end{list}

\ability{Hit Die:}{d12}

\ability{Class Skills:}{The Half Dragon's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Hide (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (all skills individually) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Move Silently (Dex), Search (Int), Spot (Wis), Swim (Str).}

\ability{Skills/Level:}{6 + Intelligence Bonus}

\begin{table}[tbh]
\begin{small}
\begin{tabular}{lp{1.9cm}p{0.7cm}p{0.7cm}p{0.7cm}l}
Level &Base Attack Bonus &Fort Save &Ref Save &Will Save &Special\\
1 & 1 & 2 & 2 & 2 & Breath Weapon, Scales of the Dragon, Dragon Sight\\
2 & 2 & 2 & 2 & 2 & Wings of the Dragon, Subtypes, Immunities, Strength of the Dragon\\
3 & 3 & 3 & 3 & 3 & Sphere, Spell Resistance\\
\end{tabular}
\end{small}
\end{table}

\smallskip\noindent All of the following are Class Features of the Half Dragon prestige class.

\ability{Weapon and Armor Proficiency:}{The Half Dragon gains no proficiency with armor or weapons.}

\ability{Breath Weapon (Su):}{A Half Dragon is able to emit a deadly breath weapon. The energy type of the weapon is appropriate to whatever dragon type is involved in the dragon-half. As appropriate, it will either come out as a cone with short range, or a line which is twice that long. The breath weapon does 1d6 of damage per character level (or CR) of the Half Dragon and the Reflex save DC is 10 + \half Hit Dice + Con Modifier. Using this breath weapon is a Standard action, and once used it cannot be used again for 2d4 rounds.}

\ability{Scales of the dragon (Ex):}{Half Dragons gain an Enhancement Bonus equal to \third of their Hit Dice (rounded up) to their Natural Armor Bonus to AC.}

\ability{Dragon Sight (Ex):}{Half Dragons gain 60' of Darkvision and see 3 times as far in limited light conditions as per Low Light Vision.}

\ability{Wings of the Dragon (Ex):}{At second level, a half dragon grows dragon wings. They may be small and cute or huge and cloak-like. But regardless of size or mass ratios, they allow the character to fly half again as fast as their land movement rate with average maneuverability.}

\ability{Subtypes:}{A Half Dragon of second level has the Dragon Subtype, as well as whatever elemental or energy subtypes is appropriate for whatever kind of dragon is manifest within her. For example: a Half Black Dragon would gain subtypes of [Dragon, Water].}

\ability{Immunities (Ex):}{2nd level Half Dragons are immune to sleep and paralysis effects, as well as the energy type that they themselves breathe on people.}

\ability{Strength of the Dragon (Ex):}{Upon achieving 2nd level, a Half Dragon is blessed with increased Strength. She gains an Enhancement Bonus equal to \third of her hit dice (rounded up) to her Strength score.}

\ability{Sphere:}{A 3rd level Half Dragon gains a single Sphere.}

\ability{Spell Resistance (Ex):}{3rd level Half Dragons have Spell Resistance of 2 + Character Level (yes, only 2 + Character Level, I'm not even kidding).}

Alright: update is, there is no update. My computer is OOC for the next few days, and meanwhile it's fucking finals week, and then I go home, and then two weeks later I move to California.

So, I'm sorry, I'll work on it when I can, but it's apt to be a while yet.

Also, Koumei's Ogre Mage and Meteor Ninja are tagged for inclusion.

Thanks AlphaNerd for doing the formatting for Half Dragon so I don't have to.

Update is, I'm crazy enough to think that people want this badly enough to get it before it's all "done" - to push out builds of the beta of v0.6.

These are "stable" - nothing is broken, everything works, etc. They're just missing a bunch of stuff.

Expect builds every few days or so. Feel free to post comments, feedback, etc.

My Name is Huge for Big Nob is a bit... messed uo.

It looks like the community combat feats got cut off.

Master of Wrath has the '?' character where it should have '1/2'.

Good Job!

MoW has been fixed, so you'll see updates in the next build I release, as has the Curator table formatting issue.

My Name is Huge will also be fixed by then.

Cut off? Hrm. I really only included about four in this release, as they're a bitch to code, so I'm not sure what is cut off - they have some funky formatting because of autospacing, but that's about it.

Like I said. Beta. Stable, just not everything included yet.

Glad you enjoyed.

Awesome!

Also, I do have some slightly more refined versions of a couple of my classes on the DnD Wiki (I post them here to iron out the kinks, and once it's been picked apart and polished to my satisfaction, I put it up on the Wiki to save 'em.) Also, these have some flavor text!

Edit: Copy and paste the links, and they *should* work.
