That happened in my house years ago when we bought a remote control blimp. It'd drift down to the basement. The cats were all fucking terrified of it when it would drift near them.

My childhood cat had a balloon tied to her tail and she flipped the fuck out sprinting all over the house. I don't recall who did the tying, just the blur of a cat pursued by a relentless floating demon that knew no mercy.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

Once my cat was playing with a plastic grocery bag when he got the thing caught around his torso. He sprinted around the apartment terrified of the rustling monstrosity that he couldn't seem to escape. It was at that time that I learned cats (or maybe just male cats) have a fear musk.

Oh no, it is the lady cats too. I picked up a friend's cat, she seemed fine with me holding her until I smelled something terrible. She'd left some horrible musk on my hoodie that was quite potent. I put my sweatshirt outside on the hood of my car to air out and it made the car stink too. Took many washings to make that hoodie wearable again.

And now, an image cuz this is the image thread.
