Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

The funny/sad part is that this image is being taken out of context by folks not familiar with the whole bimbofication transformation fetish (which is a heapin' helpin' of sexism in its own right).

Bimbofication is managing to make generically on-trend standards of female beauty into grotesqueries, and that's before you unpack the psychosexual shit around it.
What is the out of context context for that image?

Well, that image is obviously just smut someone drew for a niche deviantart community. That is the context. But it somehow went mildly viral without even so much as a "p.s. this is someone's weird fucking porn" disclaimer on it, and given its exaggerated, cartoonish style I assume approximately 101% of the people who saw it thought it was some kind of satirical comic, and not something someone would ever intend to be erotic, and so they ended up interpreting it as a deliberate political message about how... sexy women are all stupid? Which, to be fair, is pretty much exactly what the image symbolically implies, but it's also porn. People do not consume porn for its political messaging.

Bimbofication is the weird intersection of mind control fetish and enlargement fetish where both stop being understandable as sexy to me. Like, I get how people like boobs and find boobs becoming bigger to be sexy. I get how people like to be dominant and controling minds or whatever makes them more dominant. But bimbofication makes the target unrecognizable physically and mentally as the person it is done to. So why not just start with a sex genie or something? If you aren't keeping any part of the original sex partner, how is that a thing?
But yes, I think that we should replace most of our memes and political discussions with fringe porn.

It used to be Asuka from Evangelion getting railed by hated political leaders to make a point. But hey, now Trump is in the same breath as GWB and Kim Jong Il.nockermensch wrote:Man, KanColle doujins can get weird.Ancient History wrote:Most of the time.
Someone needs to draw sexy girl art of him and all those Godwins can be even closer to the truth.

I can understand mind control as a fetish. It's presumably just the sci-fi/fantasy lit nerd's twist on the traditional power fantasy, where people are either getting off to the idea of someone being powerful or being powerless (depending on which side of the equation they're empathizing with).FrankTrollman wrote:Bimbofication is the weird intersection of mind control fetish and enlargement fetish where both stop being understandable as sexy to me. I cannot understand breast enlargement as a fetish. I understand liking boobs. I understand liking boobs that are large. But everytime I stumble across breast enlargement weirdness, the boobs invariably grow right past comically hypersexualized and straight into debilitatingly large. Like, that shit is larger than the torso to which they are attached. There is clearly something going on there I do not even remotely understand, because the end result isn't even a little bit sexy. I imagine there's something about the transformative process itself that makes it work for people, but I honestly could not even start to guess what.
I imagine it's the violation aspect of it. Having a sex puppet and turning someone into a sex puppet are different fantasies, in the same way roleplaying some kind of consensual sexual slavery and roleplaying a rape scenario would be totally different fantasies. Sure, both are clearly fantasies about relationships of inequal power, but in each case the latter specifically involves one party's loss of agency.FrankTrollman wrote:But bimbofication makes the target unrecognizable physically and mentally as the person it is done to. EVERYTHING is a fetish to someone. I thought that was clear already.

Part of it is the fantasy aspect; same with any other "hyper" fetish - the fact that it is fantasy allows folks to go past mere physical limitations. The same reason why cartoons can have comically excessive violence: you're no longer subject to reality, so once you suspend your disbelief the limit is your imagination (and, I suppose, artistic skill).I cannot understand breast enlargement as a fetish. I understand liking boobs. I understand liking boobs that are large. There are some grosser aspects of the whole "bigger is better" thing - especially when it comes to penetration and O-ring orifices - but it is also important to remember that ridiculously oversized or over-emphasized sexual characteristics or genitalia are nothing new.
