Certanly. You're a "top down" sort of person, content to observe the world from the safety of an overhead viewpoint while looking adorably cute at the same time (just in case you are caught in your divine peeping tom mode). You don't really want to get directly involved so the hole is only large enough to look through and you are really into the round peg into the square hole theory.

wrote:(where he didn't actually get to have sex). Anthropomorphic, yes, but 'sexual associations'? Maybe in your mind.

Oddly the majority of scary sexual furry stuff on the internet, what with it being you know, on the internet, and fictional imaginary art type stuff...

Involves not actually having sex and being all in someones mind.

So really. No difference again.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I'm still not seeing how Zoidberg = sexual associations, even with that difficult to parse response.

I get that all the crazy internet furry-porn is not really sex (since it's, you know, pictures). I also get the furries in real life are not necessarily in it for the sex, and those furry-types that don't actually dress up or look at crap on the internet just do it in their head, so they don't even have the minimal interaction of looking at someone else's drawing, they just have their imagination.

So furries isn't always about sex. It could just be sexualized pictures of humanoids with animalistic features, or it could just be people dressed up in costumes, or it could even just be someone who has odd dreams and an itchy imagination (judging by my cats, fur is itchy).

Although, probably the most famous of the furries (link worksafe, wikipedia) is very sexy in his/her/it's official appearence. :lmao:

But lets also not forget what the other cieling cat is watching people do...

Rather than write words heres an excellent explanation of why furries are furry.

sigma: Gaia.

Also, while the people starting this thread get on my nerves a little, and not only because of "4chan vs non-4chan: FIGHT!", I still think this is awesome.

And it's also explained the varying reasons why you dislike it bleeding over into other forums. Even if some of you really do overreact and need to look into getting medicated.

Clearly, Ceilingcat is a voyeur.

Oh, and call me weird, but I generally figured that when someone says they hate something - furries, for instance - it's because they actually hate the subject matter.

My dislike of them is not based on any website out there, but having to deal with the more annoying varieties of them in real life.

Dude. Lets take an example.

Since like what, last Thursday? When I complained about his 655 totally senseless unintelligable and annoying posts Sigma has racked up nearly 100 more.

And its pretty clear what he is up to if you pay attention, especially with his more blatant acts of truly senseless provocation.

And he is just the most blindingly obvious time waster.

Koumei: a lil late! I meant the previous one. Just put the Gaia one up cuz.. well.. I like it. Not a Gaia fan at all though, just the avatars from tektek.org.

PhartLobster (and I can't believe I even acknowledge your bullshit): You're right, you got me. That's exactly it.
I'm just trying to up my post count, and don't actually take pleasure in participating in RPG discussions or watching you squirm under fire.
You win the prize! :jump:

And yet, I really should sig that last line of yours. haha

But you misspelled "unintelligible". You'll kill me with irony if not from bitter pettiness.

Using the "Ignore" function has been clinically proven to lower your blood pressure. Side effects include not being able to understand sections of conversation. Side effects are rare and comparable to marking the forum read and going on your merry way.

I've never ignored any chump in my entire internet life. And WOW have I run into some chumps.

This is the very first time I've even been tempted.

Very tempted.

Edit: Screw it. Temptation wins. Hello bold new world with 90% less total and utter trash posts.

I believe that he's loved my presence secretly. How else could one explain it?
He actually keeps track of when and where I post, and how many, and how often?
That's even a little creepy.

But I realize his validity, I do post too much lately (being between jobs yet I'll be hired by the end of this week. Keeping it is another matter.) and I'll cut back.

What's a good limit?

Well, other than Koumei (at 6.6) and Voss(at 3.6), you (at 4.2) out-post every other person on the board by more than a post a day.

Now, the #4 person is Frank (at 3.18), who, other than fbmf's amazingly hands-off moderation style, is the main draw of the board. Nothing personal, but you do not contribute as much as Frank to the board. Of course, neither do I, or really anyone else, so that's probably not a good standard.

It really comes down to this: Each time you post, do you stop and think "is this really information that is contributing to the conversation?" If so, then post as much as you want. If not, you might be posting too much.

Of course, I don't really care either way. No one on this board actually bothers me. Heck, the only 3 people on Nifty who bother me don't post anymore. So do whatever you like, I guess.

This, for example, is something no one cares about because it's boring and not funny. It is also useless, and I regret reading it. In fact, I regret typing this, as it is time out of my life that I can never get back.

Thanks a lot. Jerk.

PhoneLobster got a hernia and I had a laugh.
Still, I'll just stick to one forum here (In My Humble Opinion...), post only when game-related, and leave the troll-jerking for Wiz. It'll take discipline/focus but it's possible.
Didn't realize the ridiculous pace I've been posting here until now; that's just bad manners, what with fbmf's hospitality. Still, without guidelines (or post restrictions), sky's the limit.
Maybe I should have stayed on The Wiz. There's enough useless text over there, it's like pissing in a sea of... yeah.

Oh and one more thing. This ain't the first or the last 4chan thread. http://bb.bbboy.net/thegamingden-viewth ... thread=113

Yeah, I didn't realise I had such a high post-rate either. Perhaps I should cut back to meaningful banter.

Or not. Maybe I'll try not to reply to every single post though. Like this. Oh snap.

Yeah, dude, I didn't care enough what a shoop was that I didn't even look it up. That means that you've overposted to the point of no longer being interesting. Should you really be racking up a post count as high as someone who has been posting here for literally years?

Although Koumei has had some good posts in the opine forum, older posts weren't so good.

The point here is that I'd defend your right to be inane, but when push came to shove on this very page you put more crazybabble instead of actual talk.

It's a fancy way of saying IMHO

edit: And Neek, where do you see a person's posts per day? Or did you actually calculate them for all the active posters?

Actually, no. That's a joke on my part about the post count and you're presumptuous.
I really don't give a fuck about post numbers and that's what got me into this mess.
As much as I hate taking the trollbait on this one, couldn't let it hang as the rude accusation it was.

The second one. Only I didn't do everyone, just the ones that were obviously high. I didn't do you or me, for example.

EDIT: I should mention I was pretty drunk at the time.
