If you remember my earlier thread on Carbon Man, a person with complete control over inorganic carbon (creating it, shaping the chemical reactions, causing physical change, etc.) had a wide variety of powers; carbon monoxide lasers, self-sustaining fire by recycling the reaction, diamond shielding, etc.
What about the other elements? Remember that we're using comic-book logic here.
Helium- Would be able to produce large amounts of alpha radiation, probably would have freezing powers or something similar.
Silicon- Would be able to completely control sand, ala Gaara, Sandman, or Sir Crocodile. Would also have control over electronic circuits.
Lithium- Would have mind control powers on other people with lithium chemicals, crude electrical powers.
Oxygen- Acids, magnetic fields, and of course fire.
What kinds of powers would these people have?

The oxygen dude would have the power to oxidize stuff, rusting metal or allowing people to breathe underwater (by oxidizing their blood).
