More on breaking this EPOCH, Larp system [Notes]
You can simply 'cast' every event after your 1st; gain XP and have no risk to your actual character.
On the other hand, people take about 10 minutes to bleed out when they start, and you can buy a skill that increases that, and there are spells that double whatever your bleed is.
The "Income" skill is also pretty powerful, and crucial for a spell caster sicne it determines how much mana you'll be given per event.
Any mana that you've got at the end of an event you can bring back the next one. Yeah, that's potentially busted.
I should seriously pick up 1 tier in Fire, Water and Air; pick up 3 mana of each and get actual mages of those elements to cast spells that I want with said mana.
Or donate the mana to the their appropriate circles. The "newbie" who goes around dumping mana into each circle is... 'interesting', plot-wise.

Cute and easy chicks are their own event. If there just happens to be a larp based around it, it's all good.

I've got to say, cute goth chicks of unimpeachable moral character seem to work out better in the long run.

Considering that I didn't do that while I was married, I can honestly say that it had no effect on my current situation.
Furthermore, I don't consider being free from that person's influence to be a problem. I'm happier now than I've been in years.
However, at the risk of overstepping my boudns, I feel that I should speak for Fence man and say that we should probably get back on topic.

Heheheh... 'With Fire I Entrance You'. I love that spell.
More importantly, though, stop trying to do everything right off the bat. You seriously need to focus, dude. We had 40-point characters that were useful at a 200+ event because we had focus. Keep focus, keep good. Start going all over the place an you're boned. Pick something, stick with it, and worry about your other stuff later.

Yeah, I guess we should go and pick up some cool gear though. I want to go in with more clipped on 'tags' and a dwarven bolt-thrower (aka repainted nerf handgun).
The really funny thing about games like this is that the more cool or interessting looking clothing, costume or gear you wear, the better 'role player' people think you are.
Toss in having nearly maxed Earth (aka healing) magic (that you use to add to the actual healers power) and people get oddly impressed that the newbies with 55 build can actually play with the 200+ build characters and they're told to hang around and help out.
Oh and Count Arioch, this EPOCH group is seriously a tiny, tiny LARPing club. As in, aside from the 70-odd members there are no other chapters.
You also have to be careful who your casting eyes at too. There are seriously people that nearly everyone in town is willing to kill and some people consider the inn to be a death trap. Partly b/c they're considered to be cheating gits or suck at roleplaying (they constantly go OOG if they're in danger IG instead of you know, running). They're not much better people in real life either.
Then, there's also the currency of respect. It's a currency that one doesn't want to lose among their peers.
In any case. I'm just sort of miffed that I really couldn't do that much last event with my character itself. Although, I did save the water champions ass once when he was bleeding out (saturday night).

Water gets a spell called, "With Water I Strike You With Lightning". What the balls is that supposed to be anyway?
Water also gets this command spell, which doesn't make any sense conceptually or mechanically, but is still a fvcking great spell.

Water is a very uncommonly used magical element in this system. At least that what I noticed.
The powers that each element allows access to that anyone always seems to want are as follows:
Earth
-healing
-regening body parts (it's an 18+ game, so people get gutted or skinned for parts to make alchemically created items)
-knocking people down
-keeping people bound in place (you have to call what your binding and that part has to be touching the ground, so it's iffy)
-being toughened against attacks
-being able to hide in the ground
Fire
-grappling and unarmed strike buffing (one spell and one mana lets you increase your normal grapple and unarmed strike skill by your tiers of power in fire; and getting +5 on grapple and unarmed is really a big deal, since few people get either)
-One-shot weapon damage buffs. The way it works is like this; a bunch of people get together, the person with the highest fire/void & essense tiers is psychically buffed to their max; then everyone who has fire, essense or void links up with them and gives them up to triple the actual casters normal value; then who ever is the current Fire Champion donates a retarded amount of fire mana (since champions are usually the only one with 20-40 mana of a type at any time) and then the whole town walks around with a few attacks that deal +40 damage. When damage on a long sword starts at 4 points and costs you about 120-ish character build (literally, that's 10 events where you are always doubling out on your XP) to reach 14 damage; +40 is a huge deal since it will tend to auto-kill a targetted enemy.
-one of the best "the wizard can't do anything, but his target is a sitting duck spells": 'With Fire I entrance you'. With this spell even the noobest player can help almost anyone against monsters with no wierd immunities. I've helped a very high lvl caster kill a guy that he had entranced, while Brob was able to entrance 3 out of the 4 times he used a spell packet; all of them got killed. Really, it's a spell that lets a 40-55 point character actually contribute in the 200+ point characters event.

-Defense against any weapon attack. It's a spell, and get discharged against the next weapon hit that tags you. Some air mages run around with 10 or 15 such incants on themselves.
-There's a really good running away spell that makes you 'fly', and you simply walk to where you want to go

-Double or Halve a target's bleeding time (the time from when they hit 0 hp till they completely die; usually 10 minutes)
-A " Command you to .... (lie on your stomach, run away, etc.)" type spell.
