Teleport Trap, source?

Post by virgil »

I was looking through the Tomes, and noticed the presence of the Teleport Trap spell. I can't seem to find its existence in any of my books or even online indices. Anyone know where this spell is?

As far as I know, there is a Teleport Trap spell in AD&D 2e, and there's an actual teleport trap (either magic or spell trap, the distinction was never exactly clear, CR9 insta-kill/rape/DM's option on touch).

I tried Crystal Keep, which people assure me to be an awesome index of everything D&D, only to find nothing.

Maybe anticipate teleport was the intention, or perhaps scattering trap?

There's a Teleport Trap which is an actual trap that casts teleport. It's CR 9. Maybe the spell makes the trap?

There are a few sources it doesn't use, though I forget which ones. I did check that book though, and found nothing.

I think it's one of the Eberron books. A spell by that name that is.

Scattering Trap in PHB2 imbues 1 5ft square/level with a Teleport Trap (the square teleports d6 squares you a random direction).
