Ask Ant

Post by Maxus »

O Ant, share your wisdom with us.
We are Queenless and confused
And wander in the darkness of No-Hive
Without even antenna to sense our way.
Look upon us with kindness
And show us the path.

---------------------------------

O Ant. I am about to make a gallon of sweet tea, which calls for two cups of sugar. Should I heap them, make them level, or go a little less than two cups?

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

Consume all the sugar you physically can, along with enough moisture to form a syrup and, until you finish digesting it, regurgitate this substance to provide for others as their needs demand; for the good of the colony.

Thank you, Ant. That sounds good.

Amen and amen!

Ant, what should we do about termites, bees, or other "outsider" hives? Should we incorporate them into our way of life?

O Ant
May the sugars and soil protect and preserve you
Harvest bountiful from thy aphids
And bee not guided by the pheromones of thine enemies.

O Ant, I worry that the spark has fizzled in my relationship with my spouse. Any words of advice?

In the absence of more specific orders, all who smell differently must be annihilated; for the good of the colony.

Normally, I would say that you must continue to copulate with your mate for maximum reproduction and genetic variation; for the good of the colony. However, your reduced urges may indicate that you have ceased to produce sperm, in which case you should stop eating altogether; for the good of the colony.

Guard us from the she-spider and the spider, and guard us from the lawnmower, oh Ant, and be so good for us to pass.

Ethically, a task well-completed for the good of the colony. Experientially, endorphins.

O wise ant, what was the best musical artist or group to come out of Great Britain?
I am judging the philosophies and decisions you have presented in this thread. The ones I have seen look bad, and also appear to be the fruit of a poisonous tree that has produced only madness and will continue to produce only madness.

believe in one hand and shit in the other and see which ones fills up quicker. it will be the one you are full of, shit.

The colony benefits from both a healthy environment and healthy workers, and if the concept of personal property stands in the way of these things it should be annihilated where it does, if not entirely; for the good of the colony.

Your question is difficult for me to comprehend, but I think the answer is: I am a worker.

Ant, with the weekend coming up, I have to ask: do you ever get time off from your duties? You know; for the good of the colony?

If so, what do ants do on their time off?
