This was cut-off while scanning, but it was basically an idle plan for the central dungeon level of Return to the Crypts of Chaos; the idea being that there was an alien city above it and you dropped down into the center room, and the rest of the dungeon was designed as a step pyramid, going down and spreading out with each level.
The theme is, as you might have guessed, tarot-card based...or, this being nominally D&D centric, deck of many things-based. The idea is that to complete the dungeon, you'd have to reassemble the deck, which would act as a key to the "inner" pyramid where the Big Bad was chained up. The diagonal walls were force walls that acted as one-way mirrors and allowed you to travel in one or both directions, as indicated by the arrows. Each "quarter" of the pyramid was designed and maintained by a different race - designed to be nonhuman, I'd settled on Gelatinous Cubes Pyramidions (which would be different colors to show social caste), Dromites, Formians, and Myconids (those got cut off). Navigation would be by elemental compasses, since each direction is associated with an element...
Yes, yes. Silly and impracticable. But there you go.
