Thirsty Sword Lesbians comes with half a dozen settings that are nothing like LotR.

Re: Dissociated in 3E
Some people are simply not willing to perform any suspension of disbelief or thinking about mechanics whatsoever. This is in a game with dimensional portals , fucking time magic , and lovecraftian mechanical horrors. But a warrior who moves faster after he gets stabbed is too far? We're going to be...

Well at least they've got their ideas in line with themselves, as opposed to RaHoWa giving the "lesser" races superpowers like no-save stunlocks.
Good luck with banning trans characters, though. Just look at the Harry Potter fanfic community.

I'm pretty hyped about this, and somewhat annoyed that this is the first I'm hearing about it. I'm a huge fan of both "twenty minutes into the future soft sci-fi" and "alternate history that blows up Europe", so the game is pushing a lot of the right buttons for me out of the gat...

If I'm posting anything that's going to take more than two minutes to put together, I do it in Notepad++. All my notes are in there anyway and I've actually tripped over half-written comments a day or two later and gotten to finish my thoughts and put it up.

Re: Credible Masquerades?
I think it could work if you keep the Shallows, well, shallow. There isn't a whole world on the other side or even an entire village. The largest bits of Shadow Realm are things like Diagon Alley, but there's nothing on the other end of the alley but another street in the real world. Maybe one on an...

If you're interested in getting your old account fiddled with, you could try posting in the About/Welcome forum. Zherog seems to notice posts there faster than stuff buried in actual content. I'm not sure that there's much they can do, though. There's a bunch of people who were around for the previo...

Welcome back! We kept your barrel of cocks warm, so here you go, start suckin! That art actually looks kinda cool. I've seen some other art AIs and their results tend to be mashing elements pulled from other images with some terrible attempt to blend the edges together. That stuff actually looks coh...

Re: [Let's Read] 5e Minigame and Subsystem Sourcebooks
This raises the question, then, on what happens if the votes result in a tie? There’s also no mention of what happens if all the tasks are completed (adventurers win) but the Deceiver’s still alive (Deceiver wins). Wouldn’t that be a draw, then? I'm always impressed by people's ability to un-solve ...

I think you've covered the angles here. Your options for AR interface are DNI, gloves, or pulling the commlink out of your pocket and using it like a smartphone. If you've seen or read something where someone appears to not be using any of those, it's merely an oversight on the part of the writer or...

IIRC, that's the excuse for religious organizations being tax exempt. On top of the fact that they're supposed to be legitimate charities in their own right, they're not supposed to have representation in the government. And, well, https://i.imgur.com/sBCpj2t.jpg Of course, nothing prohibits any ind...

There's a YouTube channel I follow. Wright and Fath certainly give Brian Blessed a run for his money when it comes to hamming it up, but they have actually been shot at by people trying to kill them, and have seen ballistic armor both succeed and fail to protect its wearer. If they stand behind this...

The fact that they keep ignoring posts where people offer suggestions to continue having a flame war with PL answers this one pretty neatly. The fact that you managed to boil their idea down to basically rolling on treasure table...

Yeah, we actually prefer thread necromancy over reposting a topic, so we can refer to the older conversation more easily. Otherwise people end up saying the same thing over and over.

Given the "tag out warlock for a powerful summoned monster" will be offered alongside the core options, not in place of them, I fail to see that it is impossible to be a reasonable option. I can think of a number of monsters I wouldn't mind trading my character for a couple of rounds, plus...

I've got a couple uncles that are into sports betting, and they were carrying on about hoping the Giants would "beat the spread" (lose, but not lose as hard as expected) back in the 90s. There's not going to be much of a reaction today. Some bets won, some lost, happens every day. 4.5 isn'...
