There's Ginger Snaps, but that movie is Canadian, so no one's ever actually seen it.

I'd like to tell players like that to fuck off completely, but they're really too common for that. Don't let that stop you. It just means you have to be more vigilant in telling people to fuck off! You could be right. I'd much rather find out that I went soft than accept that my players are too stu...

People too stupid to total their bonuses before rolling aren't unusual at all. I'd like to tell players like that to fuck off completely, but they're really too common for that.

But of course the reality is that people were genuinely and correctly insulted that high level characters whose concept was that they were weak and clumsy were still able to muster comparable bonuses on physical tasks to nominal specialists of lower level. Because that shit is fucking insulting. If...

Well, there is a "faux gunslinger" paladin archetype called Holy Gun A terrible archetype that no one should ever play. Its smite evil equivalent is a single attack as a standard action, and is thus worthless shit. I have a player running a multiclass gunslinger/paladin. It's effective, b...

The Athach could use some love. It's a hill giant with an extra arm and a poison bite, and... that's all we know about it.

No one gives a shit about the Tsochar. I'll fight anyone that says anywise. I like the Tsochar. They and the Mindsight feat are my most favorite things in the Lord's of Madness book. If you ever find yourself in Memphis Tennessee, I will fight you back, then probably buy you a beer. It will be a sh...

The fact that Paizo print lots of stuff into their adventures that nobody will ever experience or find out about in a real game is not really surprising since there are lots of people who read materials as you would a novel, without even the intent of using it at a table or anything. Paizo has even...

Is this the one where plot only continues when you get certain reputation ratings that you literaly get from grinding? Yeah. NPCs constantly tell us that we need to do odd jobs like kill giant spiders and collect sahuagin asses before they'll be willing to help us pirate. We've mostly refused to do...

Gah, why is the pirate AP so fucking boring... I'm getting so tired of making Sailor checks.... I have exactly the same problem with it. We all know the boat isn't going to fucking sink no matter how badly we tank the rolls, so it just adds like thirty minutes of dead time to every session. We've b...

Oracle of Life? Healbot during the easy encounters, but keep enough real spells in your back pocket to save the day if the party gets in over their head.

Roll20 is usable on mobile devices with a paid subscription. I really like Roll20 on PC, but I don't have a subscription, so I can't say for sure if it's any good on a phone.

My backstories are what, 15-30 words? I like to establish a badguy the GM can maybe steal and a goal, as well as what I'm doing for work or as a profession or whatever. Anyway it's more fun to see what a character does as you play than it is to know what he did in the past. I only like backstories ...

I will donate all of my treasure to shore up the party's defences against mind control if that's what it takes. My experiences with dominate have been miserable, and I just do not want to deal with it anymore. I always use a wand of mage armour, even with characters that wear real armour. Just in ca...

The original ends a little earlier, with Max and Leo producing plays in prison. Both versions have some serious flaws, but they're both funny, and different enough that it's worth watching both.

It could be in the air system and related to when I do and don't use the AC. When I run the AC, I set the vent to recirculate, and when I turn it off, I open it to outside air. I'm pretty sure this is the issue. My last vehicle also had a rotting smell that appeared at random--it turned out to be m...

Or, if you are male, wear hilariously inappropriate cosplay. My co-host is a manry dude crossplaying Letty, so that's sort of covered. But past experience suggests it won't compare with what some of the audience will be wearing, anyways. So far we're planning to demonstrate a stage of SA, PCB, and ...

My current campaign is a weird hybrid of Tome and Pathfinder, but I think I've weaned my players off of Pathfinder enough that my next one won't have to compromise. But while running Tome would be a step up, it isn't the game I really want to run. I've got an idea for an Utena-inspired magical girl ...

Googling for houserules lead me to dnd-wiki.org a few years ago, and to Tome. From there, it was only a short step to here. I forget how long I lurked before finally making an account.

About DDC, Kagerou has some nasty spellcards. Yuugi is the other lvl 3 boss I remember that forces you to leave the bottom of the screen, but Knock Out in Three Steps is just memorization. Kagerou's last card... *shudders* Ichirin's last two cards also force you to leave the bottom, and they might ...

Also, there's touhou fanart for any situation, no matter how convoluted. It's like a specialised version of rule 34. http://imageshack.us/a/img10/8650/hulkhoganrule9.png I'd like to emphasize how good Touhou's music is. Touhou's music is so popular that ZUN, the creator of Touhou, is credited as co...
