Wait, so does that mean we can farm an infinite number of rings this way?

Jumping on the spring will almost certainly catapult us to a different location, while looking at the screen may still give us the opportunity to try the spring later. Therefore I vote to look at the screen.

Flip the coin.

I'm okay with choosing not to join the monk...BUT I suspect we'd be forced to, like what Deathtrap Dungeon does with Throm, since his story spans across multiple encounters and will likely be used as vital plot device. Still, let's find out.

All the parallels with the Deathtrap Dungeons. In both we see a sign trying to trick us into leaving our weapons behind, and in both we are given the option to stick our hand in gross creepy crawlies for loot. So there's probably something worth looting. Take it!
