I'm sure they are all on the freelancer crack in the champagne room.

IMR, not a history of clever names or phrases.

I'm sorry but someone needs to lay off the elf porn. Can't we let sleeping dragons lie without having to trot out their fetish puppets? Yes, there's a thread on DS every couple of months where they ask about her, but that's just because she had "lucious gams" and didn't leave a corpse. I d...

Plus, the court case was a slam dunk, which is why IMR paid the creditors in question the money they were owed to keep it from going forward. Thats more guesswork. Lawsuits are most likely to be settled when neither side has a rock-solid case and thus both sides would rather settle out-of-court tha...

If you want to bring motivations into why people may discusss this, consider that due to CGL's behaviour, they lost the main body of talent that created the very successful and high-quality 4th Ed. (im and a lot of other's o). So long as CGL has the licence, these people wont be writing for Shadowr...

Taharqa, I just want to thank you for keeping this thread alive. As long as you keep spreading your word of blatant favoritism, it will continue to clash with the opposing blatant favoritism already present. And thus keep this thread alive. I want to reach out, because I appreciate what you're doing...

Or the settlement could have been something like: "drop the lawsuit and we won't press to have you pay our lawyer fees if you lose." That kind of settlement happens all the time when one party realizes they aren't likely to win. So its quite possible that the petitioners might agree to a ...

Given IMRs recent published product you can't really expect them bother proof reading anything. I'm sure they expect to take care of the document errors if they ever bother to get around to an errata.

The writers were definitely smokin’ the freelancer crack, as we like to say, Did anyone see this blog update and do a spit take? Aside from how unprofessional it is, and ignoring the insult to people who are dealing substance abuse problems, why would a company with a history of failing to pay thei...

It all depends on the table. We used to have laptop issues, but when they went away people still talked. So I made an effort to focus on any character who's player was talking at least once per session, seems to keep things on track more. I don't mind laptops anymore than I mind cell phones, I just ...

Needs more circuit board to be Shadowrun. And a Jackpoint.

The biggest mistake Emergence made is that it tried to recapture Crash 2.0 by introducing an unneeded kink in the Matrix: the watered-down AI. So watered down it can now be played as a PC. By introducing AIs (and free spirits and drakes) as playable it turns SR into the D&D version of the "...

I don't know much about Randall, but an artist I know that did work for Shadowrun, Battletech and C-tech told me that Randall Bills is at least a weasel if not as crooked as Loren Coleman. I talked with him a month or two ago, after he finally got paid for some work he did for CGL two years after pu...

Devil rats. Maybe with collective minds & magic to start making them a threat. Ghouls and shedim, of course. Radiation spirits may exist, but toxic animal/plant/man spirits sound like a more common threat. Devilrat... King? I don't know how that just clicked, but I just figured out what my play...

My experience with the BT forums is that you had better tread carefully and watch what you say. They gots a lot of fanboys who practically live there (take a look at the post counts on some of them) and are as rabid as can be. It's not friendly towards CGL - it's fanatically devoted. And why not? I...

Ah, right, I forgot about the Shedim. So there's another dimension scouring force you can't negotiate with.

That shit is exactly what you need more of in your street level games. Extraplanar menaces that can't be reasoned with.

Someone put The Corruption Master Plot Arc online. You can read it . Warning: Coleman is a really bad author. -Username17 That was... I'm at a loss. So Coleman's big idea is to kill off an IE or two, maybe give GW and the AF some more back story and use all that to fuel the birth of yet another for...
