I'm trying to get into a decent college right now (high school junior here!) and I want to look into summer internships. Right now, all I've got in my (Seattle, WA) area are Radio Internships and some stuff at the Science Center in Seattle.
I'm not sure if any of you guys have experience with internships or stuff like that, but do you know if there's a way to find this stuff? I mean, my best attempts involve typing: "Internships Seattle [Subject of Choice]", and it's not working out very well at all...
So, suggestions?

I'm looking into:
Journalism, Biochemistry-related degrees (too many goddamn names for them), architecture, management, and psychobiology.
It's a broad theme...

look up organizations that deal in the subect.
psychobiology - might mean you could look at APA and ABA and ask within.
journalism -- can mean any number of things. start small at your local newspaper and go on upto any other type of agency.
again, you want organizations on the subject. management is a little tricky. but try volunteering at places like boys & girls and any other place where you can get some experience on the managerial side.
