I give up.
I'm not sure what I'm giving up, but I'm giving up something.
And really, WHEN did it happen with arena scores? Really, name a time. Just one. Season 3, when they introduced rating requirements? Season 4? Season 5? Season 6? Season 7, 8? That's all of them, because season 1 and 2 didn't have any rating requirements.
Which one of those required you to stay above x rating to use the items you already acquired?

No. None if it is currently in the game, so why should I spend hours digging through past versions of the game, release notes, and forum posts to find what I'm looking for?
That's five years of stuff, and while I can name the right year, finding the specific bugs in the millions which have happened before and since is just stupid.
It's not like I'm saying it's happening now, or within the time Ceilingcat has played the game - which is just the last two years - I'm just suggesting that things they say will 'never' happen often did and do happen.
Besides, this is the hate thread. Why must I rationalize hate?

So you're saying Blizzard might purposefully implement it, because a bug caused it to happen once? Is that it?
I'm honestly not clear, I have no idea what you're arguing other than a bunch of lies.
And if you want to just hate something, go ahead. But when you say why you hate something, and the things you say are wrong or make no sense...

I'm going to freeze hell over and agree with Crissa here. If someone hates any form of entertainment of any kind, does it really matter if they can justify it to anyone else?
I mean, if Crissa said she hated Asians or Blacks or Gays, that'd be one thing. But I have had people literally harass me for months because I said I liked FFX more than FF6 picking apart every reason I gave. As I asked that person, what's the goddamn point? Does it matter if my reasons can't be justified to someone else? Does it matter if Crissa can't justify her reasons to Cielingcat?
Crissa does go off half-cocked most of the time, but if she doesn't like something about WoW, I don't see a need for her to justify it to anyone else. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't like it.

Your point was that something specific happened, but you refuse to even say what that something was beyond the vague explanation of it.
EDIT: I'm okay with people hating WoW. I don't care at all if people do or don't. But I do care when people hate it or anything else for reasons that aren't even true.

Things they said would never happen:
Alliance Shaman
Heroic Dungeons
Druids using Weapon DPS
...etc
They never did say you would always have your creamy PvP gear, and in fact, have taken it away before. I can point to PvE items, specifically, because I had them and could remember how to find them. I can't point to PvP items because I don't care. Not because they don't exist.

So you can't provide the evidence to back your claim? Stop making it then. Noone cares that Blizz goes back on their goals all the time. They could at any time put legendary weapons in normal mode 5 dungeons too.
Count, shes not hating WoW, shes posting a claim that a specific thing occurred but not providing the evidence. Not good enough.

Count Arioch the 28th, a question abounds.
Why do you hate America so much? Is it our freedoms? It's our freedoms, isn't it?
Josh Kablack wrote:Your freedom to make rulings up on the fly is in direct conflict with my freedom to interact with an internally consistent narrative. Your freedom to run/play a game without needing to understand a complex rule system is in direct conflict with my freedom to play a character whose abilities and flaws function as I intended within that ruleset. Your freedom to add and change rules in the middle of the game is in direct conflict with my ability to understand that rules system before I decided whether or not to join your game.
In short, your entire post is dismissive of not merely my intelligence, but my agency. And I don't mean agency as a player within one of your games, I mean my agency as a person. You do not want me to be informed when I make the fundamental decisions of deciding whether to join your game or buying your rules system.

On one hand, female worgen (like pretty much every other character in the game I suppse) seem oversexualized.
One the other, I wonder when the "Everyone is a furry for the Worgen" trope will come up.

The worst part is the stupid "no male blood elves" meme, when male blood elves are incredibly buff.Crissa wrote:Great, females are cutesy and busty again.
I suppose this isn't a good time to point out that there isn't a single creature in WoW where sexual dimorphism doesn't result in larger, beefier males?
-Crissa
God I hate that meme so much.
Also, is it just me, or do the female worgen heads look really weird?

My opinion on the subject is that everything in the game is sexualized to a huge degree. Males are beefy and muscular, females are overly busty (even by my standards!) and cute. Night and Blood elf males are needlessly buff, while Troll and Tauren females (and now, Worgen females) are made too feminine. (The beta version of Troll and Tauren females were more bestial. In fact, the reason why troll females have such an odd gait is that they were originally gangly and hunched over like the males. They changed the model but not the motion capture for the leg motions during walking.)Crissa wrote:Great, females are cutesy and busty again.

The whole time I played WoW, I found myself at least slightly aroused most of the time. I honestly had more fun seeing the Darkmoon faire in Goldshire, getting drunk, and flirting with the Alliance females then actually playing the game.

If I saw someone built like a male blood elf in real life, I'd want him on my football team.Cielingcat wrote:The worst part is the stupid "no male blood elves" meme, when male blood elves are incredibly buff.Crissa wrote:Great, females are cutesy and busty again.

And after looking at their heads, yes. They do look weird. Their heads seem like they'd look normal if they didn't stick them onto a porn star's body and looked more like this

At the time I played WoW, I was only allowed to leave the house to go to work. If I so much stopped to get gas or a drink, I was in for it when I got home. So yes, I did need to get out more at the time that was the case.Crissa wrote:1) TMICount Arioch the 28th wrote:The whole time I played WoW, I found myself at least slightly aroused most of the time.

My nads itch. Like really, really bad. I should probably see a doctor.

The law in its majestic equality forbids the rich as well as the poor from stealing bread, begging and sleeping under bridges.
