It looks like I have 2 options here. One is to avenge the terrible holiday season by beginning an unspeakably violent crusade. The other is to try and arrange something diplomatic. And the in-game text messages don't support image attachments. Time to see whether there's an easy way to type links to Photobucket files. And possibly make a lower-resolution version of the world map to mark up in Paint so file sizes don't get too crazy.
You got Pangaea and Mictlan to the South. Do what you want with that information, I'm just saying ahead of time that I am voluntarily leaving you guys the Western part of the peninsula to decide amongst yourselves how to divide up. I am offering universal non-aggression pact until the end of Year 2, to be renewed or not as the date approaches and the political realities become apparent.

Careful strategy reflection has caused me to change my build order and send in a revised turn.

We're just waiting for Mictlan at present.

I will give peace a chance. There's this little niggling voice in the back of my head urging me to rush someone, but that's probably just Dominions-turns-people-into-jerks syndrome. I won't force a war on someone if they don't want it, particularly when there's still indies to attack. And I've already made one pact to attack anyone who attacks an ally. It'd be awesome if those treaties spread around until someone assassinates someone else's archduke and sets off a world war after a long period of peace.

Also, I found a nice Fire site. It gives 4 gems a turn and recruitable mages. If someone sends me enough Earth gems to get my hammertime on, I might be able to send everyone a flaming sword next winter.

I was tempted to respond with a screenshot of the turn list, or possibly a giant U, but the screenshot got bugged and I felt pulled towards the indirect approach.

It's probably a good idea to post in thread when you send your turn, Avoraciopoctules email has had comms difficulties with us

Thanks to Avoraciopoctules for hosting though.

Yeh, I will. This was the first turn I didn't because I thought we had ironed out all the issues.

But thanks to Av for hosting too.

You are all welcome. I'll happily host for fellow Denizens. (Though please don't take this as a cue to ask me to host more than 1 game at a time.)

Damn, three forts went up this turn. I'd been expecting to have a clear lead on the second fort, but I guess I delayed a bit long.

EDIT: Also, I've got a lot of basic geographical information. So far I've been distributing it to indirectly screw with the people in the lead for provinces, but I'd be willing to swap some for in-depth info from scouting.

Turn 11 sent.

I haven't been keeping AAR notes or even pictures, but I am keeping some diplomatic/strategic notes every so often and an archive of all the saves. The notes aren't quickly obsoletable, so it'll be a long time before I post them.

EDIT: about the hammer/staff/mace request next turn, PM me if you're willing to take me up on it, so I don't potentially have obligations to pay most of my gem treasury.

Heh, I see what you're talking about via the ocean. I'd like the replay of that one.

Ashod bumped a 5-10 man army into K's expansion force, and won, if my reading of the map info is correct.

Early game they have like 5 dudes who are unkillable - so they don't attrit during expansion and are really hard to stop.

Pfft, I don't have five men in my armies. That would be an extravagance.
