So, apparently one can copy orders in dominions between dudes by holding down ctrl and hitting a number while mousing over an order list, then letting go of ctrl and hitting the number while mousing over the destination order list.

You don't need to hold down Ctrl while dragging. After you've pressed Ctrl-(number) while highlighting the orders, just move the mouse to the new guys orders then press the number (without Ctrl). It'll continue associating that number with that set of orders forever.

Hah, I lost around 50 guys trying to take a province back from independent trogs. Tramplestravaganza. I sent 15 death gems to the first person to ask, 6 to the second, and the 2 items I promised to sell to the nation that asked for them. In a couple of turns, I should have all the gear I need in the immediate future and can start making wepons for shipping out to peeps.

Also, I dislike how it is impossible to check the messages you have pending. There is no way to be sure a twitch of the hand didn't send something to the wrong faction or trash one of your items. I think that may have happened to one of my fire boosters at some point a few turns ago.

Up to 10 chariots. Also figured out what to do with my air gems. Got the Sword of Aurgelmar this turn.

Donnermark went... about as expected but slightly less well than hoped. Oh well, most of my mages made it out okay.

Also, it turns out I need a spell many of my mages can cast that's good for slaughtering massed living troops, so it's time to take a bit of a break.

I've decided to agree to a ceasefire with cthulhu.

That makes sense. I'm off from school so I'm more needy for a Dominions fix than usual.

Ack. Sorry, I got back from my trip last Sunday, and it looks like we got all the turn files in the day after that. One was labeled 33, and I didn't realize it was probably actually for turn 34 till now.

On the plus side, I just finished finals yesterday, so we probably would have seen a delay anyways. I should post one of the papers I wrote on Somalia at some point, but first, I'll try to advance to the next turn.

There we are. Looks like my plan to give the guys in my besieged fort some reinforcements didn't go too well. Still, this turn could have gone worse.

Gah, not having enough gem income. Also, I got a nasty shock looking at the research graph.

What kind of gems do you need? I'm in a crafting phase right now, but there are some types like Death I'm not using.

Death would indeed be useful, but i really want astral and water. I'd like a ring of wizardy, incidentally.

I've got 10 Astral right now, so I could probably make a ring in a couple turns. About the same Water, that's dedicated to Armor of Swiftness, Frost Brands, and Water Bracelets. 1 or 2 Death from my income this turn.

By the way, since I'm not using the sword that gives everyone on your team Luck right now, does anybody else want to borrow it for a few turns?

Based on what Akula said on the phone, the battle over one of my forts this turn should have been pretty dramatic. People should feel free to check my turn out if they want, as a bunch of stuff is happening right now and I view collecting all the screenshots necessary to describe it with trepidation.

Note to self: remember to bring magic duel when pissing avor off. Better yet, don't piss him off anytime soon.

I suspect that nasty surprise is me. This fills me with no small amount of glee, and I'm gold locked so hard I cannot even recruit the full number of mages I could a turn.

Ugh. Stupid pans refuse to cast spells that would kill golems. Ah well. At least I managed to get one Golem and 4 casters without losing any of my own casters. Still, it's aggravating.

Golems managed to sit exactly in the gateway where they would be least ganged up on and held their ground long after their side had been defeated and our team abandoned the siege and went home when one of the remaining golems had seven hit points. Argh.
