Zinegata wrote:Abysia, I asked for a Flame Helmet not a Skull of Fire :P

I'm gonna have to ask for a refund or you send me the proper package by next turn. Otherwise, I would advise people to not trade with Abysia anymore as they're gonna send you an item which you didn't want in the first place and is half of the price of what you ordered :P.
It looks like a mixup from where I sit, because I got an item that was not what I wanted and twice the price of what I ordered. How about you send that skull my way and I'll send you the flame helmet?

My apologies on the Fed Ex fuckup.

Sending two different fire boosters to two different nations starting with "Ma" at 6 in the morning is not as easy as you'd think. Or rather it is, but sometimes apparently you (in the sense of I) do it wrong. :(

Thanks for sorting it your yourselves.

In other news: Seders are nice, but passover itself, not so much.

TC, people should really know when they are conquered.

Also, why the hell are the scouts who keep dying to my patrols from either Marignon or Abysia?

Um, you didnt catch any of mine THIS turn, I'm just trying to get to TC to see the fighting. Marignon has more scouts than The Appeased, if you get my meaning. I've caught more of his spies than anyone else's by a factor of three. Makes me wonder what the hell he transfers his bloodslaves with.

In other news: Earth, Water, Fire gems sought.

Also potentially gold, but who has that these days?

Oh right, the Castles 'R Us guy. :P

Holy fuck guys, Agartha is powerful. He's got at least 3 golems, maybe 4 geared up, an SC pretender, and multiple thugged Tomb Oracles running around.

Also a fuckton of Umbrals and darkness-supported cae knights/crossbowmen. His invasion force is actually WAY more powerful than anything Man sent after me.

Well, we're willing to part with our gold, but it depends on what's being sold.

So if the person who made barrier is willing to sell/trade that to me, just name your price, I could use it.

Abysia seeks air nature and water gems. Not for clamming even.

has earth, death and blood.

I may or may not be referring to the magical resources there. :)

So... with Abysia, Marignon, and Agartha now all having globals, can we stop being scared of Chelms? :p

Also, can TC please surrender already?

No. The only reason I haven't been fighting is that I needed all my mages to develop an anti-Agarthan superweapon.

BNN Breaking News!

We. Are. Betrayed!

BNN Bards have confirmed that Agartha, Chelm's supposed "traditional ally", has launched an unprovoked invasion of the province of Gryphon Spires. Chelmian losses among the militia forces were reportedly heavy, and Agarthan forces have now besieged the fortress at Gryphon Spires.

A remote attack of Pale Riders was also reported near the province of Barra. However, this attack was repuled by the arrival of several priests.

In an emergency session, the Chelmian Council of Knights denounced Agartha's betrayal and unanimously approved for "total war" against Agartha. Magister Gisulf, speaking for the entire council, concluded his speech with the words, "We will not rest. We will not stop. We will keep fighting until we secure the full and unconditional surrender of Agartha."

Additional public declarations were also delivered by the Council, particularly to the T'ien Chi and Caelian ambassadors.

--------

1) To T'ien Chi: The Chelmian Council hereby unilaterally suspends all offensive operations against T'ien Chi forces south of the "line of control" for the next six months. The "line of control" is Gryphon Spires (81), Ryd (94), and Ferran Mountains (79). However, if TC attempts to attack Chelmian forces, Chelmian forces will respond with deadly force.

Chelms is also now willing to pursue a seperate peace and is willing to meet with TC delegates.

--------

2) To Caelum: The Chelmian Council would like to remind Caelum that Agartha launched an unprovoked invasion of Chelmian lands. Therefore, it is NOT bound by its defensive pact with Agartha. Agartha has certainly stated that they would NOT go into Caelum's defense if Caelum had attacked Chelms first.

Chelms therefore offers Caelum an immediate NAP until turn 60. Failure to accept will simply confirm that Caelum has been plotting with Agartha to be an oath-breaker, and therefore Chelms will focus on destroying Caelum first.

--------

BNN has also been getting reports of troops mobilizing all over the country. Acting ahead of the announcement, countless Chelmian reservists have already reported to their depots to receive the arms and ammunition they need to defend their homeland. The Council of Magisters also report that numerous magical creatures have also been summoned to defend the homeland.

More ominously, BNN received a statement from a magister claiming to be part of the Collegio Tartarian. Rumored to be Chelm's secret weapons program, the existence of the Collegio Tartarian has been long denied by the Chelmian government. But today, the magister finally confirmed its existence by delivering a simple message:

Legio will walk.

-----

OOC: 24 hour extension please. The world war is about to begin!

Abysia solicits donations of gold for its lab rebuilding fund. The owner of the alchemists stone is humbly and pathetically entreated to offer it in loan so that fire gem income may be efficiently converted. Thank you.

I do not recommend taking O1P0H3G3Misf2M1 as it appears to generate bad events from a very short list that clearly includes temple earthquakes and lab fires. If you are going to take Misfortune take crappier scales so that you have a wider variety of (less) bad events.

State Announcement from the Winged News Network!

The Council of Elders, speaking on behalf of the sadly absent Zarathustra, makes three announcements.

Firstly, that Caelum has kept its treaty obligations with all other powers (Chelms included) to the letter.

Secondly, that Caelum is in no way responsible for (nor does it condone) the oath-breaking of other nations, if indeed that has occurred.

Thirdly, that the NAP between Caelum and Chelms will expire on Turn 53 as per existing arrangements.
The soul is the prison of the body.
