hermit wrote:@Frank: His grasp of German is none the better, sad as that is. He is a vicious enemy of punctuation, verb forms, and cases. He (purposely, I can only assume) gets them wrong nearly every time (punctuation) or often (others). You can observe his punctuation issues in the above post.

His problem was: I think Technomancers are overpowered, badly written into the setting and generally suck ass in various ways the way they are. That's probably no secret to anyone on Dumpshock. Medicineman flamed me for a lack of argumentative (cognitive?) capability. I decided - after a bunch of flamewars where he and a full-time nerd who goes by the handle of Tycho (and who is the worst railroading GM I ever knew) flamed me for lack of arguments - I had enough of places where trolls like Medicineman or Tycho are made moderators, and quit the flying horse forums. I asked my account to be deleted. It probably has been. I might have been banned on the Nexus forums (where I indeed received a number of warnings), I neither know nor care.
1. You never played with me a GM., so please keep you guesswork of me GMing skills to yourself.

2. You think SR4 sucks out of several reasons which are entirely existing in your imagination. Every time someone corrects your non existing rule knowledge you start flaming and insulting people. You were not even able to build a legal character to proof your point of the almighty technomancer, who renders all other characters redundant.

If you need to know who is starting with insulting postings, just read hermits post.
He was not banned in the Pegasus forum (where I am a mod), he left after 2 warnings, which were both unanimous decided by the 3 SR-Mods, the forum admin and the Pegasus Community Manager.

I think You found a home here at the Gaming Den Forum(You shouldn't let it slip too)
... which is not primarily a Shadowrun Forum.
1. You never played with me a GM., so please keep you guesswork of me GMing skills to yourself.
Oh, my mistake. So the 'Ritter Arnold' run isn't yours?
You think SR4 sucks out of several reasons which are entirely existing in your imagination.
While enlightened people like you love everything about SR4, and would defend War and other fine SR4 products to the death. Because it's not the products that are a problem, it's the critics.

But it's kind of funny to see you two join up and post everywhere I post. Don't you have a life?

Anyway, I've had it with you. Everybody may judge for themselves whom to believe here. Fact is, though, that SR4 sucks for several reasons. Even if they can't stand seeing that written anywhere.

I don't know a "Ritter Arnold" run, so no...

If you actually read my posts, you would realize i am here 2 month longer than you, and moreover never defended War or any other shitty SR product, actually the opposite is the case...
Fact is, that you Perception of SR4 is clouded by little to non rules knowledge, so many things, you think suck, are actually fine if you just play by the rules. I'm not saying SR4 is perfect, but your "facts", why SR4 sucks are mostly myths...

If you actually read my posts
1) generally not worth it, save for comical value
2) I do not CARE what you post. Hence, I would not know every single post of you here or anywhere. It's not like you are interested in facts, so keep the crocodile tears to yourself.

Guys, could you either take it to PMs or go into more detail? As is, you are not entertaining enough to justify the posts.

I mean, if I wanted this type of silly whining, I could just read the dumpshock forums. I come to this forum for real flame wars, and really good insults.

I can't decide if it is funny or sad, that you insist on being the poor victim here, who always gets insulted. :roll:
But it is good to know, that you are so into facts, like blaming my for writing a run I don't even know (Which I still am interested where to get it, because I asked some of the most hardcore SR-Fans I know and nobody knows of this run) or imputing that I joined up to help Medicinman, if I have been here longer than you (Its not like it stands left of every posting for a fact) or imputing that I defend SR4 products regardless how bad they are, which I never have done.

I didn't even want to get in this discussion, because talking to you has no point as I realized quite some time ago, but you are the one calling me a moronic douche, troll, flamer, worst GM ever and cognitive not able to argument. This it not something I let go unopposed.

FFS if you guys are going to insult each other. Do it in actual English, or German. At least reading German would be funny. But really bad English is just depressing to read.

I concur. If you want to bust out witty and involved insults auf Deutsch, you can just do that. I'm usually pretty forgiving about people using other languages poorly, but if you're just going to insult people I demand that you do it well.

@Maxus
Thanks for correcting/explaining

@Sabs
@Stahlseehle
@Tycho
@Hermit
... which is not primarily a Shadowrun Forum.

@Murtak
There is a History of about 3 or 4 Years of Hermit being wrong with the SR4(A) Rules and of Tycho,Tyleaus, me and many others correcting him
but I'm afraid that my English is not good enough to explain all the Highlights and I don't want to go into every Detail because its good that he found a Home here

@Frank
A much more Basic Problem is that I am just not good at insulting anybody neither in German nor in English. It's just not my "Cup of Tea"

With a DAF Dance

I like this game. Here is what you get after a few repetitions, only German=>English, English=>German

Hermit is like a woman, if you let him talk long enough to post /
contradictory or
enough is nonsense, he makes a fool

German=>Azerbaijani=>Simplified Chinese=>Estonian=>Swahili=>English

If you give him enough time to talk with the ascetic, as a woman /
Depends on yourself it does not conflict with, or
a lot of garbage out, it was stupid

Swahili=>Haitian Creole=>Latin=>Yiddish=>Welsh=>English

If you enter the place of talking with you assert that all a woman
Pender is not incompatible with and / or
A lot of rubbish, it is foolish

Welsh=>Persian=>Vietnamese=>Japanese=>Indonesian=>Urdu=>English

You will see all women, if you enter the hall will talk to you
What Pender, and synchronous /
Other waste is ridiculous

On popular demand ...

So, Medizinbällchen, du willst also persönlich werden?
There is a History of about 3 or 4 Years of Hermit being wrong with the SR4(A) Rules and of Tycho,Tyleaus, me and many others correcting him

Also, was ist daran schlecht?
Translations on request, though I'm sure it's more amusing to apply Google translate.

I'm trying really hard to care about all this. Can you guys at least throw in some funny cat pictures or some shit? I would run it all through the Googlator, but I can't seem to give a fuck of sufficient magnitude.

Can someone let me know if any of this pertains to Shadowrun or the situation there of?

Yes and no.
It partains to shadowrun because the medic and tycho are more supportive of SR4 than Hermit is and thus you get a nice little grating along the edges.
