@Stahlsteele: Oh god, Collar6 is terrible... I checked last week if it had gotten better since it started... didn't seem it to me.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

webcomics are shit, the only thing worth reading is penny arcade and that's still pretty hit-or-miss

I'm a big fan of Faith Erin Hicks. Her artwork is gorgeous and it's awesome at how it shows emotions. I haven't read webcomics constantly since college. But every once in a while, I'll go back and reread something. Ice is one of my favorites for that.
Ice
Demonology 101
D101 has been done for ages. I haven't read it for almost 4-5 years but it was awesome then but I was also 20-21 at that time. I don't know how it has aged. It might be time to give it another spin.

Like everything else online, there's no quality filter. And to make things worse, people will tolerate some downright awful webcomics. Here are a few decent ones that haven't been mentioned yet:
No plot
A Softer World. No plot, no characters. Just dark humor. Be sure to read the alt text on the comics.
Subnormality. Way too many words per comic for me to recommend it, but I will anyway. Occasional recurring characters.
Plot
What Birds Know. This one is all about the characters. Great art, and authentic ups and downs (mostly downs).
A Miracle of Science. Completed, which is always nice. A sci-fi story that's better than its art.
Buck Godot: Zap Gun for Hire. Also completed. An early Foglio series, check it out if you read Girl Genius.

I have to re-recommend Digger, now that's it's finished.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Stuff I still read that other people have already mentioned:
Penny Arcade
Order of the Stick
Girl Genius
Megatokyo
Dinosaur Comics
Oglaf
Bad Machinery (the current Scarygoround story)
Stuff I read that has not (as far as I can see) been mentioned yet:
Octopus Pie
Templar, AZ
Lackadaisy
Gunnerkrigg Court
Rice Boy
Questionable Content
Stuff I used to read but stopped:
Anders Loves Maria (the ending sucked balls)
Ctr-Alt-Del (after a while, it got kinda repetitive and shitty)
PvP (ditto)
Wigu (went on long hiatus, I lost interest)
Perry Bible Fellowship (just 'cause he stopped updating, that shit is funny as hell)

I am judging the philosophies and decisions you have presented in this thread. The ones I have seen look bad, and also appear to be the fruit of a poisonous tree that has produced only madness and will continue to produce only madness.

Apparently some of you will read absolutely terrible webcomics, if you get to see the occasional nipple. This has to stop. Poorly drawn breasts are not a substitute for quality. If you really want to read NSFW webcomics, read good ones. Oglaf is one, here are some others:
Hentai Action Theater. Not anime style, thankfully. The various storylines are unrelated, aside from the sex.
Chester 5000. A scientist, and the woman who loves him. And the robot he builds to love her.
Smooth N Natural. A very 70s style. Good one-liners. More R than NC-17.

I thought the non-youtubed hiimdaisy comics had vanished from the internet, but I just found an imgur account that seems to have most of them.

Awkward zombie has been pretty good lately. This one made me go looking for the old Age of Empires II CDs. http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=051313

I was skeptical at first, but this comic is actually looking pretty awesome. Stick around until the end of the first arc at least, the Dungeon Rats felt like a pretty cool idea.

Unsounded is quite the enjoyable fantasy webcomic, in both the written and visual aspects.
The rules are the game, without them you're just playing cowboys and indians with a side of craps.
