The Unpublishable

I'm not entirely happy with it, but it's sort of variations on a theme. The idea is that each of these characters from myth, fantasy, and history is an incarnation of the same guy, the same concept. The tenses got a bit weird, I'll probably fix those later.

it's easter and all that, most people decide to not do their regular thing.
furthermore, i am a bit surprised that there is no necromancy or something like that going on, what with the worlds most beloved zombie having allegedly walked the earth some thousand years ago this weekend ^^

i don't get that one O.o
if some beast does not appear she is not a virgin, so she is a slut and gets shamed . . but she still wants to be a slut to make everybody happy? @.@

Things lost in translation - the "beast" is hinted at being a unicorn, which has a particular mythological association with virgins. No unicorn would show that the girl isn't a virgin. Hence why she was worrying herself. And why she dreamed of a world where that wasn't such a huge deal.

I caught the gist of it, but I totally missed that "beast" meant unicorn. I assumed this was some sort of trial by fire, witch test thing, where once a girl was accused of being a slut, she was doomed to either be eaten or shamed.

Artistic license. But yeah, it's Grimace, who's married to the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street...and she's at his bedside 'cause he just had a foot amputated due to diabetes.
