Well, as soon as the Confusion episode is over, we'll head back that way. Maybe give Archie a Viking sendoff.

There are many templates that add extra arms.
Um, I cannot recall how abilities are determined. Reminder, please?

Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.

4d6, drop one. Or 14 in everything.Prak_Anima wrote:There are many templates that add extra arms.

Ancient History wrote:OKay, I've updated the first post to reflect our current roster of players and sourcebooks. I'm gonna give 24 hours for any other players that want in, or for y'all to tweak/redesign/fiddle with your characters and update your character sheets accordingly.
Couple notes:
My normal preferred method of attribute generation is roll 4d6 and drop the lowest die - but if you want to just set everything to 14, that is also acceptable.
I had tentatively designed the Crypts of Chaos to take characters from 1st to 6th level, but the game goes until you succeed, reach an alternate ending that is acceptable to you, or decide to call it quits.
I'm not going to make an overt suggestions unless asked, but if you're unhappy with your character - want to play a Beguiler instead of a Sorcerer, or difficulty with weapon proficiencies - I will remind that there are a lot of options available and potential variant rules in the UA section of the SRD that you can choose to use. 'nuff said.
The tone of the game is to have fun. If you're having fun, then go nuts.

So, I'm looking at a Spellstitched Nosferatu Kenku Warmage.
This unfortunately does not give me a way to identify, which I'd like to bring to the game. Does anyone know of some weird one off feat or the like that gives identify (or a spell of choice that could be identify) as a spell like ability?

Fiend Folio
-Blackstone Gigant (eight)
-Klurichir (Demon)
-Myrmixicus (Demon)
-Formian- Winged Warrior
Monster Manual 1
-Aranea in Hybrid Form (arguably)
-Athach (ok, only three)
-Behir
-Marilith (Demon) (six)
-Etheral Filcher
-Sahuagin Mutant
-Xil
-Xorn (again, only 3)
Monster Manual 2
-Abyssal Maw (based on picture)
-Spellweaver (six)
-Thri Kreen (plus you're an awesome mantis man with a +30 jump)
Monster Manual 3
-Arrow Demon
-Gerivar
-Vermin Lord
-Mezzoloth (Yugoloth)
-Nycaloth (Yugoloth)
And I have to head out for class now. There should be something usable in those lists though, assuming that the matter is not moot by this point.

Mostly I was just explaining why Cadwyn turned into a bizarre double-goblin. The problem was finding a creature that (1) had extra, usable arms, (2) could still talk (for spellcasting), and (3) fit within the transformation restrictions (no templates, no outsiders/elementals/constructs/undead, 7hd max).
I hadn't noticed Sahuagin Mutants, though, that's a nice find.

No worries. The one issue with sahuagin mutants is that, I think, they're aquatic, and thus, you'd have trouble breathing. There's chitine in Monsters of Faerun, too, though.
