I was wondering about that...
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

Sorry about the triple post, the board was giving me error messages. I reported the two extras.

Well, if any of you come back as horrifying undead monsters, that means you can get unlimited out-of-combat healing. I'm an optimist.

And if you come back as NPC undead, we can grab some trap springers.

EDIT: This is why Shojiro refused to use the chaos dingus after unknown parties started fiddling with it. You might be able to avoid the worst fallout if you invest in the right divination spells, though.

What was the probability of that particular effect, out of curiosity?

Hold on, if you're dead and don't turn into a horrible undead monster, I can channel negative energy all over your bodies and see if it helps the process along. Maybe some of you will roll "PC zombie" instead of generic-brand.

About 2.5%. Actually it's a bit more, because there's an option for re-rolls and two effects, but I haven't worked out all the probabilities.

Yo, Jigoku. Does your Evil Knife's status effect last indefinitely, or wear off after a while? We could use some zombies to fill out the ranks of the party's expendable minions. But if they can't walk, we should probably just take the XP.

I don't know. It's an artifact, that much I know. I think this is the only time we haven't seen it be fatal.

If/when y'all ever finish the Crypts of Chaos, we will hold a question-and-answer section.

We don't need to wait that long. Just find somebody tough, and stab them. For Science! If they survive, wait a few minutes, and see what happens.

I hope I catch up in time to check on the bodies. Those tattoos might hold in Kai's soul long enough that some Breath of Death might help him come back as a PC zombie.

Is Berry immune to disease? If not, you might want to think about getting rid of the plague-muck from Archibald's corpseplosion.

Yep, poison, disease, and mind effects.

Welp, I guess I won't have to implement the plan where I poke Kai's mouth open with a stick and then shove a length of pipe down his throat so I can infuse his body with reanimation miasma without touching hazardous materials.

AFK for a bit, guys. Try not to blow Berry up with dynamite or anything.

Sure, I'll try to keep her out of any explosions. Metaphorical or otherwise.

Well.

I guess Kai kind-of-died twice already, so he was obviously living on borrowed time. For a monk he had a good run! Want me to knock up a new character straight away?

I might have a trick to get your new PC some fast experience points, Red_Rob. What alignment were you planning on?

Is there a way for Cadwyn to swap out Enlarge Person for another spell? She won't want to use it on anyone, after this.

Also, I won't be having her use the Cube to power spells cast on teammates anymore, after this string of bad results. At some point, it'd be nice for her to get a spell to target enemies, so that the "bonus" effect from the Cube can hit stuff that's far away and hostile.

Yes, Cadwyn can retrain. We'll blame it on the cube.

Of course, you know that now you've said that the Cube effects will all be healing and strength boosts and shit
