Not to take the piss out of your character concept, but Berry already has a (mostly ignored) robot familiar name Alloysius.

Fuck! I knew that name was buzzing round my head for some reason. You even got the metallic pun thing going.

Whilst forcing animal companions into fights to the death has a certain twisted appeal, I think we'll leave the cockfighting pastiches to Pokemon.

And yet rather than making him impervious to harm it somehow seems to have quite the opposite effect...

Yep. But be aware that everything on the "artifact" list could arbitrarily warp out of your inventory at any time if some random NPC tries drawing from the Deck.
Thanks for taking those liabilities away from the party, BTW. I'd have left you some healing potions if I actually had ones designed for non-undead. But you have self-heals already, so you should hopefully be fine next time chaos-junk decides to explode.

Have we tried to just take the entire Deck of Many Things? Is there any reason to assume we can't just do that?
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.
Oh yeah. Only one of those items is known to be safe, and Cadwyn traded two age categories worth of life for it. The rest range from "unknown" to "questionable" all the way to "DO NOT TOUCH". Fortunately, Cadwyn's current plan is "mess with all of these to figure out how they work" which can't possibly go wrong.Red_Rob wrote:And yet rather than making him impervious to harm it somehow seems to have quite the opposite effect...

So, on the ask-the-Oracle-to-identify list, I think we have:
Lg. Golden Bastard Sword of the Spider
Kai's amulet
Santa Coat
Santa's Bag
Monk's Blade
snowflake ring
A small iridescent crystal falls into the tray, twinkling in the light.
A small, thick bound book - three inches square and an inch thick - tumbles into the tray. The cover is a curious kind of leather, and embossed on it in gold ink is the outline of a strong, healthy human female posing her muscles.
The top of a humanoid skull, coated in silver and decorated about the edges with images of demons and angels - a literal skullcap.
a cloak of elven make
a set of chain mail of elven make
a pair of nifty boots
a small adamantine cube
Am I missing anything?

Regarding save DC's, the only save spell I really have at this level is Entangle, which is of pretty limited utility in a dungeon or a desert...
On a side note, doesn't the Positive Energy protection on the armor stop healing from working? I'll have to remember that.
Oh, and a few questions regarding powers. Can gaze attacks be suppressed, or does Ng'Thagai make everyone sleepy all the time? Also, how do you read this ability:

It doesn't list an action or a duration, so can I just decide to be doing this or not each round in addition to doing anything else?Dream Creature wrote:Waking Dreams (Su)
A dream creature can cause the area within 100 feet of its position to become hazy and dreamlike at will. This effect penetrates solid objects and even crosses the boundary with the Ethereal Plane. Distances and speeds in the affected area become hard to judge. Bright areas seem dark, and dark areas appear to have some hazy illumination. Colors blend into one another in strange and unpredictable ways, and creatures seem to take on the features of objects or other creatures. Every creature in the affected area takes a –4 penalty on all attack rolls, checks, and saves as long as it remains in the area.
A creature outside the area taking any action that would affect creatures within or on the other side of the area also takes a –4 penalty on any associated roll or check. Waking dreams is an illusion (figment) effect with no save, but creatures that are immune to illusion effects are immune to this effect. True seeing and similar effects allow a creature to act in the affected area without taking the penalty. Dream creatures are immune to the penalties caused by their own waking dreams and those of other dream creatures.

@Red_Rob
You can try the Razor Armor instead if you like. Originally, it was just made of crystal.

Interestingly the Waking Dreams effect only punishes rolls. Seeing as when spellcasting all the rolls are by the defender and when using physical attacks all the rolls are by the attacker, it's only really a hindrance to warriors. But then, it's from Pathfinder
Oh, and would Tek best use the elven chain or the bracers being a mage-type?

It's effectively a +4 boost to the DC of Xil's monster powers too. Pretty nice.Red_Rob wrote:Interestingly the Waking Dreams effect only punishes rolls.
