Ng'Thagai will start his Sleep Song as Xil enters the pyramid, but he holds off on Waking Dreams until he knows whether the enemy are throwing Save effects.

The dragon half-lands, half-tumbles to the ground at the entrance to the pyramid, wings still flapping. Seeing Berry with two others, it shouts, "We have to stop what's in there, before they destroy everything! And before everything destroys us! Hurry!"

If Xilraxochitl hears this, she avoids withdrawing from the fight. Instead, she plucks an adamantine cube from her sleeve.

"Destroy everything? And we're not invited!? Fuck you! Secret Pharaoh Arts: Castle Destroying Uppercut!"

She swings one fist up into the air as the cube shivers with power, then explodes into a massive adamantine tower, threatening to pulverize the gathering before her if they are standing too close. The hallway back into the desert now blocked, she wills the door open as she strolls in, preparing to summon monsters through the arrow slits to attack survivors. And also in the hopes that the tower will shield her from falling rubble if the Instant Fortress tears this pyramid apart {Haha, 10d10 damage}.

"Stay safe, Batman! You can't take a hit, so try and support people without letting these jerks take a shot at you. Everyone else, we can attack them indirectly through the arrow slits. Try not to get buried in rubble again!"

The Final Battle, Part 1
Berry's word (2 points of Charisma damage) causes a few of those in the room to shudder for a moment; long enough at least for 'Xochitl to utter her command word. The gray cube in her hand expands like a pale gray soap bubble, quickly expanding, causing space to seem to warp to accomodate its sudden presence - and when it achieves full size, the "bubble" rapidly grows opaque, so that Berry and 'Xochitl find themselves standing within a two-story eight-sided shaft carved from adamantine. The second story is little more than a ledge beneath a series of eight arrow slits, reachable by ladders built into the walls. The sole door to the tower opens up to the south, even with the corridor.

Out in the corridor Ng'Thagai and his dog wee themselves and flee away from Berry at full speed, but run into Cadwyn (who rather fills the corridor). Tek, who is beyond weeing himself, merely shudders at the dark power of Berry's speech.

Then a green shimmer seems to come over the whole tower, and it rapdily deflates, shrinking back into a cube in 'Xochitl's hand. The Mauve One in the corner holds a six-inch rod of ebon stone pointed before it, a wisp of green smoke issuing from the tip. Still, most of the others in the opposing group still seem shaken or paralyzed by Berry's utterance...

*Beware a voice-presence speaks into your minds they hold the Matrix! and flashed into everyone's mind is an image of the metal, stone, and crystal device held by the small headless blue ape-thing.

"Hit them while they're stunned!"

Xil lunges forward with her weapons after dropping the cube behind her. She attacks the wand-wielder with a quick one-two combo using her dagger and rapier, flames igniting on her weapons as she hurtles forward.

[Wolf Fang Strike using both spellblade and yugo dagger. 1d6+2 extra fire damage on both attacks from Burning Blade.]

EDIT: Unless the monkey isn't stunned. In that case, she tries to take it out first.

Berry will drop her javelin and draw the Hexenblade, running in to cut the throat of the nearest stunned combatant.

Keeping Ng'Thagai blocked, so that he doesn't run out into worse danger, Cadwyn shifts his form again, to a winged lion with the face of a man, and far, far too many teeth.

(Cadwyn is now a Manticore, spike volleys to commence next round.)

The Final Battle, Part 2
'Xochitl's silent call goes out and the undead, decapitated orc-thing hisses and mumbles, gesticulating as if casting a spell.

'Xochitl's blades strike out at the Mauve One, who drops into a martial pose, and with an acrobatic backflip and maneuverings manages to easily avoid both the flaming magical weapons and Tek's lightning bolt. It then responds with a calculated strike at the dread mummy's off-hand, sending the dagger flying from her hand...

...literally flying, as a look of strained concentration takes hold of Thingol's appearance, those half-blind golden eyes sparkling from some inner power, and the dagger flies toward Berry's open hand, hilt first...

Berry, meanwhile, runs at the headless monkey thing, Hexenblade drawn. "Hello, coppertop." the demonic visage on the upraised hand chitters. "Remember me?" It mouths a foul spell, and Berry runs smack into a self-supporting column of cold water. There is a hiss of steam as her boiler immediately floods and goes out, leaving Berry fatigued as she stumbles out of the water, sputtering and weak. The half-giant steps in front of Berry in a guard position, moving with unnatural speed, looming over the steam gnome, pike-blade wreathed with some strange purple-blue energy.

Berry's right hand twitches and grasps the floating dagger; wires emerge from the hilt and lock into tiny ports at her wrist, and there is a thrumm as biothaumaturgical batteries deep within Berry's torso suddenly burst into life, causing the "dagger" to vibrate and its blade to twist into strange, menacing shapes in time to the power cycling from within her.

The black-bearded dwarf moves behind the column of water, positioning himself either to strike 'Xochitl in the back or launch an assault on Tek, but he moves cautiously (no Attack of Opportunity provoked).

Ng'Thagai shakes and then regains his composure, in control of himself once more.

Cadwyn, meanwhile, feels more than hears the first of the visitors from outside begin to darken the entrance to the Black Pyramid.

Mentally cursing the monkey's ability to fake being stunned while she chose her attack and then stun somebody else in the middle of their action, Xil falls back on her 4th resort. Since the enemies have proven their ability to arbitrarily defeat attacks aimed at an individual in their group, she needs to attack in a way they can't counter. The droplets of water flying through the chamber from the pillar of water give her inspiration.

Xilraxochitl thrusts the tip of her rapier into her off-hand, and then releases the spell stored in it. "Ackbar time, bitches! Best hope your doomsday device is tough!"

If she survives the ensuing blast, she pulls out a package of sticky red candies and empties them all down her throat.

[Whatever]

Cadwyn snaps his tail, flinging six spikes at whichever enemy is now in view (ideally, one that's not behind a wall of water). Then he turns to see which of the seven factions he saw on his way here was the first to arrive.

[Prak]

(Oh, hey, how are the flaming tentacles faring? Or did they get dispelled as well?)

Tek clacks his beak in annoyance, and holds the staff aloft "Bagrashmet! Flay them to their bones!" he caws, summoning an ice devil.

Ng'Thagai will close his eyes and blur the boundaries between reality and dreams (Activate waking dreams), then start singing his hypnotic song (Sleep song). He keeps one hand on Maximilian to calm the dog amidst the chaos and tries to keep out of sight of the fracas in the pyramid whilst remaining within 100'.

Holding the dagger up, Berry Spring Attacks up to the half-giant's face, aided by her Levitation discs, and continues up after she slashes.

The Final Battle, Part 3
The weapon - it has morphed so much that Berry could hardly call it a dagger anymore - seems to move in a blur; observers see Berry's arm raise and bury the weapon in the half-giantess's neck, yet at the same time they seem to see every other possible attack she could have made taking place at once, the shadowy reflections merging into a bizarre moment where Berry seems to have twenty arms and be stabbing the half-giant with twenty blades - and then the moment collapses, and the broken, lacerated corpse of the half-giantess falls to the floor. A tiny readout blinks in Berry's vision: 149/150

Tek {sorry, fiery tentacles dispelled} utters the command, and the Frog of Power atop the staff glows brightly. A dark shape takes form in the column of standing water - the only space large enough to summon the mighty gelugon that appears in answer to the summons. The headless blue monkey-thing curses, and the fingers on its face-hand twist in a strange manner as something flows from the monkey-creature to the water, which once placid and clear now assumes a slightly ruddy and agitated texture. The ice devil, for its part, starts to scream and staggers out of the water; black smoke erupts from its flesh wherever the water touches it, and its body is a horrible, half-melted version of itself.

Cadwyn's spikes catch the dwarf by surprise - he had half-turned to stab 'Xochitl in the back - one of them penetrating his gorget and stabbing into his neck, so that dark blood spurts out over his beard. This seems to make him angry and he turns, uttering a vile curses that makes blood sweat from his black blade.

Then cackling, mad 'Xochitl drives the point of the spellblade into his own hand.

The sound is like six thunders speaking with one voice, an explosion of concussive sound and elemental lightning that strikes out in all directions.

'Xochitl is consumed (15 points of electricity damage, 15 points of sonic damage).

Berry is hit in mid-air (14 points of electricty damage, 13 points of sonic damage). Alloyosius utters a tinny scream as the energies rend its form.

The mindflayer dodges most of the lightning bolts, but small things explode within its head and body as the sonic shockwaves hit it.

The gelugon collapses as the elemental assault hits it.

The headless orc is likewise consumed, dead flesh being stripped from it, yet it stands.

The Blue librarian screams as a bolt strikes her directly, and she, too collapses.

Lightning plays over the headless monkey's fur, giving it a brief and painful electrolysis treatment, and it collapses in a heap of smoking flesh, still breathing.

The dwarf, caught at the edge of the blast, staggers and goes down to one knee, then rises again, smoke pouring from his armor and blood from his nose and ears, to stagger toward Tek.

Tek, Ng'Thagai, and Cadwyn are out of the range of the spell.

(In addition to being damaged or dead, everyone hit by the thunderball is stunned for 1 round.)

Elder Thingol only blinks those clouded, golden eyes as the elemental energies wash over it, lightning leaving streaking black scars on the immobile limbs, veins standing out on the thin, pale skin. Then it opens them again, and drifts to the floor where the headless monkey-thing lays.

*The Matrix...shall light...our darkest hour...

Cadwyn feels a stabbing pain from his hindquarters (-6 hp), and the whole corridor echoes with a tremendous roar from the rear...Cadwyn turns instictively to see three of the Blue ninja that had been following him, but behind it, squeezing its bulk into the tunnel a foot at the time, is the vast pink tentacles head of a massive worm.

Frozen momentarily as lightning crackles over her form, a psychotic grin twists 'Xochitl's face as her off hand slowly inches toward another surprise.

{Amended, since she wasn't stunned after all.} And then the moment passes. Xilraxochitl dumps bright red candies down her throat, not bothering to count them or track how much healing the bloodsweets should provide. Once the burns begin to fade, she casts an appraising eye over the gathering, stomps up to the monkey, and tries to impale it with her sword, a few shimmers going up and down the force-armor generated by her bracers.

[Standard action to attack and regain a maneuver once Xil is healed. Holding the spellblade in two hands for the attack, for that sweet damage bonus]

(changed my mind, taking Avor's advice)
Tek raises the staff and shouts "Bagrashmet!" once again, willing a group of erinyes to answer his summons and attack his foes.

"OY! Cadwyn! See that cube on the ground next to you? Grab it, hold it between us and the monsters coming from outside, and say 'Aquavit'. Time it right and you'll cave in the face of whatever that huge monster behind you is."
