Circle-Drawing is probably Pokemon: Ranger, since its big gameplay gimmick was "circles are the new A+B!"

I thought so. Now, all I need to know is what the hell Treecko and Darkrai have to do anything. I mean, a Darkrai would totally kick a Treecko's ass: Use Hypnosis, then Nightmare, coupled with Darkrai's Ability, which slowly damages the HP of sleeping foes, and that lizard will go down like a hot bitch melting in the pink midday sun.

Mystery Dungeon: Time/Darkness has Treecko as the bad guy. Until it turns out he was just mistaken or something, and the REAL bad guy is Darkrai. Except you can befriend him too, of course.

There are enough interesting discussions in this topic that I don't want to overwhelm it with what's going on in a game that should probably have been discussed in In The Trenches anyways.

So they officially announced the Fairy type. Sylveon is a fairy type, as are Gardevoir, Marill and Jigglypuff. I'd be willing to bet that most if not all pokemon in the fairy egg group will get the type. Apparently Fairy is super effective against Dragon. Because that makes sense.

They've also shown two new pokemon, Noivern, which is a flying/dragon that looks like someone combined a jet with a bat, and Vivillion, which is yet another butterfly.

At first I thought Vivillion had a massive cock. Then I realized that was just it's leg.

Back when 2Gen was being announced and there was talk of new Types, I speculated as to whether there'd be a Fairy Type that would cover Jigglypuff, Clefairy and possibly Chansey, though at that point it could have been called the Puffball Type or the Marshmallow Type.

They want something else to be good against Dragons. Because after Steel came along to weaken Dragon Type, they decided to release more dragons with even bigger numbers and better moves, so they need to do another Type advantage against it...

Duh. Every generation has the 3-stage bird you find early on, the 2-stage rodent you find early on, at least one bug-coccoon-moth/butterfly, a 3-stage late-evolver uber Dragon, 247 Legendaries... there'll probably be another "yeah... it's a fish. Wow." 2-stage as well.

It'd just be nice to spread out to other bugs for the three stage early bug. I mean, we're up to like 6 butterflies, at this point, and nearly, if not as many moths. Can't we get a mantis? I mean, Scyther is cool and all, but he's more a winged raptor with scythes than a mantis. I mean, I'm not even asking them to do something hard, like a spider. Obviously it's hard for them to do spiders, given that we have, what, two?

Edit: Also, I dub Vivillion "Butterape."

I think we have 2 families of 2 each - the Spinarak/Ariados one and the Galvantula one. Maybe Eevee could get a Bug evolution that makes it a SPIDERDOG

So the Pokemon Twitter page is live tweeting a Roundtable discussion at E3. Apparently there are two new types of battle Horde (5v1) and Sky (only flying pokemon allowed, or, apparently, pokemon with Levitate, such as Haunter).

I predict that in Pokemon Z they'll introduce battles in which "we shall need a crossbow, an hour glass, three goats" and an annoying npc ally. "One of us must learn to play the trumpet whilst the other one goes like this [waves fingers of both hands]"

They've also mentioned three more pokemon, a Flying/Fire name Talonflame (wip name?), a Poison/Water named Skrelp (probably the seahorse) and a pure water named Clauncher.

Sky Battles sounds like just a gimmick you might find in Battle Tower things, if that's the only thing it does. Horde sounds kind of cool, though.

True. I hope marshmallowfairy is weak against dark, that way Bite can be supereffective against Jigglypuff. DELICIOUS MARSHMALLOW I MUST EAT IT.

Magnemite seems to be one of those pokemon that, when added to another, has a decent chance of producing something awesome. It kind of makes me want to write a campaign about a magitech virus taking over the world.

When I got home from work I had a ball just trying to make awesome names (Magikarp + Cloyster = Magister, Kingler + Nidoqueen = Kingqueen).
Magmar, Gyarados and Rhy... the second one, are all pretty good for adding their face and colours. Cloyster as the base pokemon is not as funny as I'd hoped - as it turns out, it's pretty much as funny as it gets already.

A whole lot of new Pokémon X/Y news has been revealed, so much that it'd probably be easier to just go to serebii.net or some similar site to see it.

Notable items of interest: Dev's said that they will make IV's and EV's more visible; a Ryhorn apparently lives in the front yard of the player's home.
