Felf could hurl one of the other party members over the spiky fence if they didn't weigh too much. [Carrying no more than a Light load, not wearing heavy metal armor]

It also might be possible to hack through or burn it.

The raft the lizardfolk were using is on fire now, but it might be possible to douse the flame and have a semi-functional watercraft.

yellow simply throws his grapple and rope over the fence and starts climbing if he makes it without trouble he will circle around to were he can get a clear shot at the window were the chanting is emanating from

The "fence" bristles with spiked stakes. It might be possible to climb, but doing so would be somewhat dangerous.

Circling to the side of the magical clouds, Valdym and Nesha finish off the sleeping lizardfolk before the relatively short duration of their hexes expire. At this point, they could run straight to the others in a round or two.

There are no obstacles to rejoining the rest of the party currently, though Nesha sees one of the archers on the roof of the large house interrupting the others and pointing out the adventurers on the docks.

yellow backs up until he can see the archers on the roof of the chiefs house then starts picking them off with double shots

They catch up around the same time that Yellow begins firing at the lizardfolk archers. This isn't a great range for bullets, but he clips someone's arm and seems to shock the snipers into cover. No arrows are flying out at the party, and most of the lizardfolk retreat into the structure or fall prone.

Unfortunately, the loud gunshots draw attention. Several lizardfolk peel off from efforts to control the fires to point and shout at the scaleless humanoids on the other side of their fence.

Reve nods. "Right. Off we go."

While Yellow provides covering fire, Reve and Felf use the knotted rope to climb in and out of the water on the near and far sides of the fence, respectively. Felf goes first, while still oversized, and provides a helping hand to Reve, and anyone else who's right behind her. After the other lizardfolk start pointing and shouting, she takes up a defensive position.

Yellow keeps the archers on the roof pinned down, but several of the windows on the second floor are uncovered as those who went inside begin to snipe from cover. He narrowly dodges one arrow that would have hit him in the head.

Felf manages to cross in a couple of rounds using the rope, and the lizardfolk seem too intimidated to approach closely for now. None of them bear the weapons or armor of the warriors in front of the village.

The chanting comes to a crescendo, and something green and tentacled explodes out of a second-story wall, plunging into the water amid a flurry of splinters. The thing surges forward, a blur beneath the surface. Reve was just about to get in, but this might change things.

"Wha--augh! Get away from the water!" Reve shouts, backing away from the mystery creature. "It's some kind of monster!"

It's a good thing that Reve backed off, since the creature's first action once it closes is to crash straight into the dock. Tentacles flick out and crush the boards, dripping smoking acid that seems to burn through wood easily.

The shaking threatens to knock everyone aboard into the water, but Reve has maneuvered onto land with Valdym and Nesha, and Yellow manages to keep his footing for now.

"ignore that thing if we kill the person who summoned it i bet it will vanish as well besides the element of surprise and chaos we had with the fires and ambush will have worn off by now and I don't want to still be fighting that thing when the boats make it back to the shore"

yellow looks around (knowledge engineering) does yellow think a full horn of gunpowder and an alchemist fire flask if well placed could blow a hole in the fence big enough to get through?

If it could, it'd probably throw sharp wooden shrapnel back at the party. Burning through would be cheaper and more practical. The wood is untreated, and old enough that it is a probably a bit more readily flammable than a live tree.

Of course, burning through the fence quickly (a round or two) would probably require throwing a significant amount of oil on first.

"Get back! If it can tear up the dock, it can tear up you!" Reve shouts, backing further away. Then she pauses for a moment, with a faraway look in her eye, "...or the fence! It can tear up the fence! Hey monster! Over here!" Reve moves closer to the fence, but no nearer to the water, jumping and waving her arms. She's ready to bolt as soon as the tentacle creature charges again.

The thing rears up out of the water, focusing on Reve's gesticulations. It's hideous, tentacles struggling to pull its bulk forward as it inches onto land.
Image
As the monster gets solidly onto ground (it seems much slower than in the water), a dim blue rune set into its forehead flashes into sudden brilliance. It opens its mouth and breathes out a wide gout of crackling electricity, washing over the wizard and gunslinger as well as the fence behind them. [Valdym and Nesha didn't fit into the cone this round, though they are close enough to act in the encounter.]

[Reflex] Thankfully, both Reve and Yellow manage to dodge mostly clear of the blast. [8 lightning damage each] The fence is charred black and crumbling now, it would be much easier for somebody to force their way through.

"reve aside from the electric burns it seems your plan to use the monster as a siege engine worked perfectly"

yellow widens the hole by bashing the smoldering wood with his riffle butt then pushes through it and charges the chiefs house

Yellow smashes his way through the weakened fence, witches trailing behind him as the betentacled horror gives chase. [5 damage to Yellow from spikes and splinters, 6 to Valdym from an attack of opportunity with a tentacle (4 physical, 2 acid)]

Beyond, with Felf, he can see the large building the monster erupted from. There are 3 obvious ways in.
- Move around to the front and head in through the front door. There are lizardfolk in the way, and more might get drawn off from fighting the fire.
- Go back towards the water and enter where a couple small boats are moored at an opening in the big house. If there's anything hiding in the water or the monster catches up, this could be dangerous
- Climb up through a window or the hole the monster smashed. This would be exposed, and might give whoever's chanting on the second floor a free shot at attackers.

"alright witches see if you cant help me clear the front entrance to the building I don't want to give the lizard in charge a chance to hit us while we climb"

yellow guns it for the front door firing both barrels of musket at the lizards in the entrance with his standard action the moving with his move action he make sure to move slightly to the side so the witches have line of sight to the door

next round he will switch to his bastard sword while charging anyone who is still in his path to the door

The magical knockouts and thunderous gunshots easily break the morale of the tattered resistance to the party's frontal assault. Those who do not fall at once run away screaming. The door is ajar, and the party hurries up the stairs and slams it behind before the monster can squeeze its way in after them.

You are in some sort of great feasting hall. Crude woven rugs and cushions are scattered around the floor, and a low table takes up much of the space (on the table are the remnants of a meal and a map held open by silver coins stacked on the corners). There's a door in the far wall, but the table's in the way.

On the walls are mounted various trophies, ranging from preserved monster bits to distinctive weapons. One stands out, a full-face mask made of solid gold that depicts a monstrous snarling face. Even in the dim lighting, it seems to sparkle.

A slender lizardman wearing a polished iron breastplate hisses in alarm as the party bursts in. He sizes them, up, looks at the blood on their weapons, and then bolts to one side, snatches the golden mask, and slams it onto his face.

He lets out muffled scream as his body begins to bulge and contort, floating a foot up into the air. The breastplate stretches as layers of muscle force it past its original capacity. One by one, the lizard's scales are turning a sickly yellow color.

"oh crap you don't have to be mage to see were this is going hopefully I can stop it before the transformation is complete"

yellow moves into melee staying to one side of the lizardfolk so as not to interrupt the witches line of sight and attempts to steel the mask
Source: Advanced Player's Guide .
You can attempt to take an item from a foe as a standard action. This maneuver can be used in melee to take any item that is neither held nor hidden in a bag or pack. You must have at least one hand free (holding nothing) to attempt this maneuver. You must select the item to be taken before the check is made. Items that are simply tucked into a belt or loosely attached (such as brooches or necklaces) are the easiest to take. Items fastened to a foe (such as cloaks, sheathed weapons, or pouches) are more difficult to take, and give the opponent a +5 bonus (or greater) to his CMD. Items that are closely worn (such as armor, backpacks, boots, clothing, or rings) cannot be taken with this maneuver. Items held in the hands (such as wielded weapons or wands) also cannot be taken with the steal maneuver—you must use the disarm combat maneuver instead. The GM is the final arbiter of what items can be taken. If you do not have the Improved Steal feat or a similar ability, attempting to steal an object provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver.
Although this maneuver can only be performed if the target is within your reach, you can use a whip to steal an object from a target within range with a –4 penalty on the attack roll.
If your attack is successful, you may take one item from your opponent. You must be able to reach the item to be taken (subject to GM discretion). Your enemy is immediately aware of this theft unless you possess the Greater Steal feat.in place of a melee attack
if the mask is affixed to him and cant be stolen he simply quick draws and attacks the guy with his bastard sword

Yellow bolts over and tears at the mask, trying to tear it free before the transformation completes [INITIATIVE], but the gunslinger is too late. He wears no mask. No mask?! Yeah, the fanged and horned visage snarling at Yellow looks completely fleshy now.

Stepping back, Yellow pulls out his sword and slashes quickly, but the monster catches the blade in one hand before it connects with any force. Grinning viciously, it lashes out with the claws of its other, but Yellow twists his weapon and forces it to let go, then kicks it hard enough to send it staggering back a couple steps. Now he's actually using his long blade out of easy grappling reach.

{That's a lot of consecutive rolls of 3 or less, wow. Maybe I shouldn't be trying the WotC dice roller out today after all.}
EDIT: {actually no, it looks like the 1 on that claw attack ended the string. Never mind.}
