Got invited to take part in "a 75 player, party based [mega game] based in feudal Japan?"
I've asked a guy more involved with it what it's like, but the "no skills, no stats, go be a diplomat" way they handle social stuff makes me a bit leery. And of course, fanboys seldom give both sides of the thing, so what can the judgemental assholes of the Den tell me about it?
Anyone know anything about "Sengoku Ni?"

Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.

Sounds like a freeform LARP. Those can be fun, as long as they haven't gotten too insular.
I found a manual, it looks excessively weeaboo for my tastes, but YMMV.

Yeah, I found a pdf too, haven't read it yet.
I guess the "fanboy" was actually the guy trying to make megagame events profitable, rather than labor of love moneysinks. It seems like there's some kind of mechanical system for combat, but negotiation/diplomacy is statless/skill-less
