Apparently during the Civil War the secessionists in Maryland used one flag and the Unionists used another, and post-War they combined the two flags to make the current flag. Not included in the article is that apparently white supremacists use this as a code by flying the state flag backwards, so that the secessionist quarter is primary.

On a family trip a couple decades ago, we found an old hotel that still had the Magic Fingers hooked up and Mom paid for us to try it. We sat and watched Speed while enjoying the bedquake.
My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.

Welcome, to IronHell.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

What, you never watched Gladiator? Also "insert eggs inside victim and spawn eat their way out" is a pretty common cliche.erik wrote:I dunno. It led me to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myiasis

But with Casu Marzu, people are eating that stuff on purpose!
