Fighting invulnerable beings sounds like an interesting topic on which either bad or good advice could be given. Be it good, or bad, in this case?

The advice is functional. At the beginning of combat, the MC decides whether or not an opponent can actually be damaged by their opposition, and if not, a successful hit does not mark any health circles. Instead, attacks inconvenience or hamper the target. Examples include blinding and environmental hazards.

So in order to blind a creature, you first have to grant it invulnerability to your damage? This game really isn't about combat, is it.

I did not see any indication that called shots can only be used against invulnerable creatures.
