The fuel jets damage me, I'm choosing to ignore it.
We have arrived in the dormitory wing.
Robots! We have a new force power I want to touch on, Stun Droid. It deals damage equal to your level, stuns the droid for 12 seconds, save for half damage and negate stun. If it works, it's pretty awesome.
Enjoy that, because I don't think I managed to get the stun effect to stick again. Evil Steve could have technically gotten it to work almost every time, but my wisdom and charisma are mediocre at best (Save DC Level +5 + wis AND cha mod). But Steve's a dick so I don't want to talk about him.
Remember when I mentioned the cold-using butthorns? Yeah, that's foreshadowing, bitches.
Sneaky sneaky
OH GODDAMMIT
Yeah, forget that note, they have a pretty good awareness.
Fun fact: you can use Stun Droid to blow up mines. Not sure why you'd want to, they're a good source of quick cash or chemicals, plus there are a few occasions where you can use them in actual cameplay.
Found the console, of course the dorms are locked.
Check the cameras...
Yeah, I don't think there's anyone left alive in the dorms. Still, we're here. We get the option to vent the gas in the dorms, let's do so.
Yeah, pretty cadaveriffic here.
Here's my unsuccessful attempt to catch the door opening.
Let's take a right.
The console in the right dorms is useless.
We'll have to check that later.
Broken door, time to use a mine.
(Leads to RANDOM TREASURE. Assume unless I mention otherwise we get random treasure.)
Left Dorms.
Luckily, this dorm DOES have a working terminal.
You get to see all the people in the dorms drop dead.
Let's check the other log.
Huh, let's check that code.
3, 17, 13, 5, 7. Simple.
This is where that underlay helped. I kept getting frozen over and over and over again. They didn't manage to inflict any VP damage but it was annoying.
There's a note in the kitchen.
This container has a breath mask in it. This makes you immune to poison (which is what you'd use to get into the dorms without computer skill). It'll some in handy later so we'll hold onto it.
Secret treasure in the bunks?
Getting the note unhides it.
Don't get too excited, the blaster can't be upgraded, making it not significantly better than the mining lasers we have.
Coorta be dead yo.
Another log. Let's run back to the terminal real quick to listen.
It's encrypted, a quick computer use later...
Let's go back to the room with the dead Coorta, we're still missing some info.
Coorta's a dick but he doesn't want everyone to die...
Wait, I recognize that speech pattern...
The robots fill them full of mining laser.
HK-50 again... that rascal!
Ordinarily I'd say this was stupid to say, but I've spoken with HK-50, it is in character to be this retarded.
Something I wish more RPG's did, if you have all the clues and your character has a 19 intelligence it just lets you know the password. You can still puzzle it out if you have a lower intelligence (note: I am not sure where the cutoff is, I just know I have a 19 int at this point).
