Tags Mother Fuckers
If you use any tags in a post go and look at it after you post it. If you fucked the thread up, fix it.

The fact that it seemed to actually need to be said's appaling, but thanks.

Holy shit people. Is it really to much to ask that you TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR POST after you post it to check your tags?

The forums have been getting slow to load pages for me, these days. So rather than waste time waiting for a preview, or for the results of a post, I just post then close the tab - and seeing as, with all my posting, I've made that mistake a total of one time, I think it's forgiveable.
Unless of course Surgo is perfect and doesn't make these kinds of mistakes, in which case I humbly atone and ask for his divine grace to grant forgiveness to this humble soul.

Sigma,
I try really hard not to make things personal on this board and I give you guys (I have been told) way too much god damn leeway. But I am on my fucking HONEYMOON and the last thing I fucking need is people intentionally creating things for me to fix WHEN I HAVE ALREADY TOLD SOMEONE ELSE TO CUT IT OUT. That shows an unforgivable lack of respect.
Be advised, one and all, if I get the idea that you have intentionally sabotaged your post you will be banned.
Try me if you don't believe it.

I'm not sure how this is even possible, but I get the grand 404 after page 10 of 4e quirks loads. I think it's thew tags. I'm not sure, cause now the page loads from my cache and goes directly to 404, does not pass GO!, does not collect 200 Internetz. I'll blame the tags anyway.
I had a signature here once but I've since lost it.

Some observation of my own mistagging mistakes leads me to conclude:
1. If you use the button to open a tag but physically enter the closing tag, it'll screw up because when you post it, it'll automatically 'hit the button' and add another close tag, leading to all kinds of shenanigans.
2. Trying to edit a quote, especially with multiple quote tags, can easily mess up the whole damn thread. On my computer, when I'm trying to highlight and delete a tag, it tries to grab more or less than it should be grabbing, and if I don't pay attention, it can screw up.
There's a couple more, but those are the main ones to watch out for.
Oh, and you can check to see who did it by quoting them and looking through their tags. In the link in the above post, RC did it--he's got an extra quote-close tag, probably done by using the button to open/keyboard to close.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

RC wasn't the only one. There was an extra close-quote in my first post on that page. The second edit is when I went through and manually found it after figuring out that there was a shift to the right after my post. It appears that close-quotes don't show up in the preview, but will fuck up the page after they've been posted.
